    Might be a silly question but, does the seat go back further? It looks like y’all are right on top of the steering wheel when you drive it. Is that a normal thing with the Falcon? Asking because I’m thinking about buying one. Thanks. 😊

  • @GrandpaDanX10
    @GrandpaDanX107 ай бұрын

    Yes it goes much further back, my wife and I have short legs lol. My 6' 3" son-in-law can drive it no problem. I think you need to buy one. These Falcons are pretty light and if you put a V8 in one it just scoots! However, I had one with a six cylinder and it had plenty of pep. They are just fun cars. Good luck on your search.

    I had a stripped down 1967 Ford Falcon that I loved. I got 185 k miles out of the car before I traded it for a Torino. The falcon had a 289 cu in V8 and three on the column. I took very good care of it with 3500 mile oil and filter changes with a chassis lube. There was not that much to go wrong with it, the car was basic. I bought it as a Demo model with 5 k on it. I kept Michelin tires on the rims , use two sets of four in the 185k miles. I very much regretted trading it in, but my new wife was brutal on the clutch and trans. The car was basically a mustang stripped down. It had minimal chrome and flash. The two tone colors were done by good ole Earl Shibe with the $200 paint job. The car Was trouble free and good in the snow. Economy was 21 Mpg, On my daily ride. Around town 18 Mpg.on Regular gas. It was not an eye catcher, nor did I abuse it with Drag racing. I left that to all my metal head, gear jumping friends. The car sat 6 comfortably. Front and rear seat were the bench type.nothin out of the ordinarily special was done to it. I never git a ticket as the car was an invisible Sky Blue. I did install very good sound deadening carpets and kept then super clean. Smoking was never permitted inside the cab. A good car is merely dependable great transportation.
