Hey guys so I was at this years ace winterfest which was at seaworld San Antonio, I have a video about it but anyways uhm after the presentation there was a box with a yellow feather that chuck had asked ray about and both of them had no clue what it was, they looked in the box and closed it but nothing really said about it. But the year was 2025 if I remember correctly. So it’s very interesting that all of this stuff is getting announced now. But all in all your ideas are all great and we shall see what the parks do.

well the secret is out for sure. some of those rides would be a great addition for rescue junior. There is definitely enough land for a third gate. If a third gate was to be built, it would mean a commitment for renewing the Sesame Street contract. PLUS the SWSA new park president use to be the president at Sesame Place! I would love to sea, (did you see what I did there) Discovery point expanded and add more animal interactions. One thing is sure, next year is gonna be great!

I think the plot of land behind Steel Eel is the best spot for a Sesame Place. The area by Discovery Point is too hilly for a theme park. If anything, that area should be saved for an onsite hotel atop the hill where the flagpole is. Could you imagine the views it would have of the parks?

So close about the Steel Force sign. Actually they were going to call Mantis Banshee but the public felt it was offensive so they changed the name and sent the sign to Dorney. Hearing that music blast out on Towers street, in your 1994 clip, hit especially hard. Thank you so so so much for including them, nostalgia overload. The same I was 15 at the year Nemesis opened and its my home park along with Drayton Manor and Nemesis unlocked ny coaster love, my kids are just getting to the height when they can do the towers, ive yet to ride wickerman, I was last at towers shortly after smiler but I have memories of that place back to the 80s and many rides that have gone. Also the tower is a Manor house not really a castle that was ever used for military purposes but yes its the only park with a genuine period building as its centre piece. Just got back from an amazing disneyland paris trip too and def have runaway mine train fans thanks to big thunder Mountain which I think is the best version of that ride and that ride concept.

Hi guys! I've been looking forward to watching this video after watching your other UK park ones! Glad you had a fantastic time, it's always great to see non-British people enjoying the park. It's my favourite park here in the UK, just a shame I live 2 hours away from it! If ever you come back to the UK, it's definitely worth visiting the park when there is an event on such as Oktoberfest, Scarefest or their Fireworks weekend. The atmosphere during those is incredible and the park stays open until 9pm allowing you to ride all the rides in the dark. Wicker Man and Nemesis are totally different beasts at night, not only because it is dark but also because they've had 12 hours to warm up! You would not recognise Wicker Man back row at 9pm in the dark!! Few little bits of info for you... Most of the large boulders you see lining the park paths (especially around Katanga Canyon) are taken from the pit they dug for Nemesis. If you stand in the right position at the Smiler, the track will look like the Staffordshire knot - the traditional symbol of Staffordshire - the cobra roll entwined with the batwing element resembles the knot The two corkscrews at the entrance to the park were taken from The Corkscrew ride - the ride that made Alton Towers back in the 1980s. They closed it due to its age to put Thirteen there in 2009 Emily Alton was a little girl in the dolls house in the queue line of The Haunted House and Duel (previous incarnations of The Curse) and the girl - and the effect used to create her - was so iconic they based the story of The Curse on her. The mother of Emily in the new dolls house "preshow" in the Curse's queue line is actually the girl who played the original Emily! Hex is based on a real local legend of an Oak tree wrapped up in chains. The tree is still standing complete with chains about half a mile from the entrance towards Alton village And its the ruins of a stately home, not a castle!

Have a look at Alton Towers, it's set in the grounds of a former country home. The difference is that because the Theme Park is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, no rides can ever be seen from the surrounding areas. This theme park has had to be very clever in how they design their roller coasters, making sure they are below the tree line. This also means they have dug down on many occasions to produce some really intense low level coasters. It is really worth a trip for a couple of days. Also the hotels have a water park included!
