13:44 When will Amtrak California cab car 8312 (Mount Inyo) finally get its K5LA horn fixed? For years, Amtrak California cab car 8312 has had its K5LA horn sounding bad with its #2 horn bell dead. Someone of Amtrak needs to replace the dead #2 bell of cab car 8312's K5LA horn.

8:19 Looks like the navy blue paint is peeling off of Amtrak California coach 8006 (Merced River). The navy blue paint on Amtrak California coach 8006 has peeled off big time on the lower left hand side of the coach. Someone of Amtrak needs to repaint that spot immediately.

Tuesday through Saturday, departing 4th Street yard in LA between 6-8am. They'll serve Grain Craft in Central Alameda first before going down to Interplastic in Crenshaw. They don't go all the way to El Segundo everyday, sometimes they'll skip - it's random as to when. With light work they'll be back at 4th Street before noon.

I gave up the bus and planes for AmTrak years ago. Because of the riff raff, drunks, and bums. I often travel in a private roomette. From Alpine TX. To Greenville SC. It's absolutely the way to travel.

The view of 3189 and the rear of 182 at 4:23 appears on RR Picture Archives, described as Saginaw, Texas. If that was posted by you, looks like you got confused; otherwise, either the photographer there was standing right next to you, or somebody's nicking stills from your videos and posting them there.

I travel by AmTrak a lot. In a private roomette, when I go from Alpine TX. To Greenville SC. It's great, with no riff raff and staff is always polite. Got tired of the bus. With all the bums always wanting money, food, smokes, or use your phone. Not to mention attitudes, screaming kids and body odor.

Man, you have no idea how long I’ve looked for an ASMR video like this: one with an audible, constant Amtrak train horn from INSIDE the train (I.e., not with crickets or cicadas buzzing in the background, not the sound of a distant freight train, etc). You’ve even got the infamous table rattle of the roomettes! Absolutely love this; really hope you’ll make more shirt and long distant route vids just like it.

UPDATE: According to TransSee (online real-time bus and train tracker), LA Metro Rail P2000 car 234 is now rolling on the C Line (Green) after refurbishment from Alstom. Looks like all Siemens P2000's are becoming exclusive to the C Line after refurbishment, with the possibility of running the K Line in the future once the future LAX/Metro Transit Center station opens and the C and K lines get connected.

Hopefully LA Metro or the city of Long Beach reinstalls the original final destination blinds on LA Metro Rail P865 car 100 once it gets displayed in Long Beach. Since the light rail vehicle already got repainted to the classic LACTC red and blue stripes livery, that'll genuinely restore P865 100's classic look with the original final destination blinds in place. Once on display in Long Beach, the blinds should be set to read "Long Beach", reflecting not only the city's name location wise, but also the city's name christened on P865 100.
