What percent of attempts are successfully done seems like a good measure
You'd think they'd give it a real name. Don't the locals at least call it something more interesting?
I knew Yuan survived in the end because the narrator was giving a detailed account of what was going through the diver's mind but not for Tau.
I think the single biggest mistake they made was not planning for anything to go wrong. They were running themselves on so thin a margin that a minute or two of hesitation could basically double their decomp time, but didn't really make a plan for what to do if that minute or two DID happen. Like yeah they planned in the sense they were aware of the danger, but there weren't really any safety fallbacks staged (I mean, as far as what's been shared in this tale). Their second biggest mistake is more inferred here, but I consider it the limit vs suggestion concept. That rule of thirds sounds genius, but they didn't seem to follow it if they were almost out of air after some hiccups in the plan (unless they were genuinely hyperventilating with panic, but they were both seasoned divers, so I think that's more unlikely). The only way I could really see--wait hold on lemme double check that rule of thirds, i mightve misunderstood it
Almost unintelligible narration
Caves are nature’s way of improving the human gene pool
I can never get over the thought that people like this are just plain suicidal.
Tip in chinese pronunciation: an is pronounced like the an in can, man, etc. ang is pronounced like the ong in wrong, pong, etc
This channel is my new favorite on KZread! ❤
you might be the best disaster channel on here thats why everyone is tryna steal your flow, all kinds of silly knockoff versions of your channel name are appearing but they just cant do it like you do
ah yes, visibility down like 90%, this is no problemo
I can hardly hear you over the music in the intro. Choose between saying something to hook us on the video or blast us with music
If you brought a level with you wouldn’t you always know which way is up???
She seriously fell from 4000ft and survived? Everything else aside. She fell from 4000ft and survived?
Seeing Canada in the ad “WHAT THE F*** IS A KILOMETER!!!!!!!!” 😂😂😂
This didn't cure my claustrophobia
Feel like the way we dive is dated tech sucks air last way to short
You add drama to Darwin awards.
As an Australian, that was a nice narration ... especially considering it was made by an American who always overhype stuff.
The real horror of this story is people being forced to study French in school. I love listening to the language but studying it was like torture. Conjugating verbs and past/present tense and masculine and feminine application were so horrible. I would rather go caving tbh.
I hate that 9:50 plucking sound, I get it, you want it so be all mysterious. But it makes it hard to focus on the story and what you are trying to say.
"Hey, guys! I'm free this weekend! Wanna go cave diving?" "Cave diving? What's that?" "It's this thing where we each give ourselves a limited supply of oxygen and then get as far away as surface air as possible. While we're swimming away from air, we'll also be navigating through a maze with very poor visibility and narrow exits that are almost impossible to locate. We won't be able to communicate and if anything goes wrong, we die in a matter of minutes with no way for others to reach us or even locate our bodies." "Can't we just swim quickly back to the surface?" "No. And if you do, your blood will bubble and you'll pass out in excruciating pain. In fact, you have to take several lengthy breaks on the way back as you're running out of air. Even experts die all the time." "Sounds like fun! Sign me up!"
A light suddenly appeared out of nowhere? LOL ridiculous statement as the light certainly has a source. Tao was dead? So he's not anymore?
🇨🇦 💪 I didn't know you're Canadian, I'm in Alberta
Not for all the money in the world..... And DEFINITELY NOT FOR "FUN".......😅
So you feel deep diving isn't dangerous enough? Dive in a cave, blindfolded, carrying a quart of nitroglycerin, and your hands tied. Else you're a wussy, I guess.
"If you ever happen to be caving" - let me stop you right there as it's not even a possibility.
Is it me or are their names wang 1 and wang 2😂😂😂😂
I once went ahead of my hiking group on a trail and ran into a bear alone I made as little sound as possible and once it ran away I sprinted back to my group. Stick with your hiking groups people.
Idk if I am tripping but I am sure scary interesting has already covered this case before?
My personal depth record is 12 ft underwater and I have no desire to break it.
Hold on. The story said that they evacuated the last family and that the one guy stayed behind, but then later there was an entire colony still there?
Foosball is the devil
Rope was from Temu, 99 cents for 100 ft
Will never ever understand why ppl do this sport. Completely insane
Most of that area was abandoned because as it turns out, rocks and sand aren’t worth shit. Lol
Come on man! Stay on brand! Where is the part where you tell us that, Paul Bunyan, Daniel, Boone, and old Davy Crockett carried all the people out over their shoulders? I mean you already went with a 1 mile high avalanche. Which I can assure you has never happened while humans have occupied this planet. I swear this channel just wing some bullshit out there all the time.
So boody glad im claustrophobic an never shall i ever never go diving, cave crawling any of those places this channel makes me do..... hellll naaawww!!! Too risky. You have no idea what the hell is in those waters with you just out of sight. Get him the hell out
They died in the water...
My grandfather did this every day to school, while running his own business. Kids these days
I won't go cave dive.ill walked in a trailer instead
A lot of people are very happy and upbeat before they un alive. It is said that it is because they have made their final decision and feel a sense of peace and contentment.
This gives me hope
Your speaking is dynamic but sometimes your speaking volume drops at a point where you're talking really fast and I miss a bit of the story.
The guy that jumped into the geyser was a complete tit You'd wonder how he made it through life without sticking a fork in a socket
New Cave video, we eatin good 😫
This account is full of inaccuracies and supposition. Disappointing and somewhat rushed account of this tragic event.
There was a *major* oversight in their plans: They went cavediving.
Where do you get the background music for your videos?
Hey guys I found this underground rock maze. Black as pitch. Danger everywhere. Best part? It's underwater! Who's in?!
