Thank you for uploading this, my Dad passed away in 2018 and he used to like watching this as do I, so seeing this today has brought back happy memories for me. Do you have the Spring & Summer episode as well? I seem to recall there being 2 VHS tapes in this collection. But once again thank you for uploading this one 😄

Thanks for uploading! TeleBingo screened on TV One (now TVNZ 1) every Wednesday night from 24 July 1996 until 27 June 2001. The show consisted of two components, a lottery and a game show. As a game show TeleBingo featured three contestants who began with $125 and a corner square, i.e. a tick as a free square. For every question they answered correctly, they earned $25 and received an additional corner square. However, for every incorrect answer, they lost $25 but were able to keep their corner square. During the Cross round, contestants were given two squares to start towards completing a Cross. Once the Cross was achieved, random squares were given for every correct answer until either a viewer or a contestant got Bingo (where all squares on their board were filled). There were two potential outcomes for the end of the game: either a contestant got Bingo first and was able to continue until a viewer also got Bingo, in which case all contestants with Bingo would come away with double their final total, or a viewer got Bingo first and the game moved on to "Run for Your Money". During this round contestants had 60 seconds to get Bingo and whoever achieved it would come away with double their final total. The contestant with the highest amount of money at the end of the game then moved on to the memory board round. Here, they had to reveal two matching squares in order to win a specific prize. They also had the option to either keep their prizes and leave the show undefeated or risk them for more the following week. In addition to the game show format, viewers were able to play their own version of TeleBingo at home by purchasing a mini bingo board for $2 from their local Lotto store (with a minimum of two tickets required). Between 34 and 75 numbers were drawn from a total of 75 and viewers had to match the numbers on their tickets to those shown on screen. If they were able to achieve either Four Corners or a Cross, they would win a prize. However, if they got Bingo, they would win $100,000. Draw 183 of TeleBingo took place at 9.30pm on the evening of Wednesday 5 January 2000 and the total prize pool was $364,412 with 10 Bingo winners receiving $6,924 each. Prior to mid-1999, TeleBingo was shown at 8pm on a Wednesday.
