this is my fav place to stay when I'm in orlando
Maybe in some aspects your right but I think in others it’s skewed, the water park at the motel is in dire need of some maintenance, the bucket that drops on kids is full of rust both inside and out, that drops onto a roof that is also rusty, also hits the little circle spinner things with paint pealing off and you guessed it rusty. The elevator had graffiti and also appeared to be unserviced with one door slamming shut and the elevator door itself lagging behind which seemingly was something out of a movie, trash cans in the middle of the walkway my guess to try to contain a roof leak. Property has a long way to go.

We did Disney in January this year, but didn't get to do all that we wanted because sickness to some of us out for a few of the days. We're returning in May 2025, and staying for longer and was really wanting to add Fantasmic onto our to-do list, and you've solidified that for me, it's a MUST DO now!!! It helped a little but I’ve never been so it’s kinda hard to follow. Help! I wanna book a hotel for a few nights and take my 1 year old grandbaby and her mom out on a $500 budget. I’m hoping to see the beach so grandbaby can have her first beach experience. Hopefully everything is close because we”ll be lyfting everywhere. Any suggestions? Travel date 7/5 - 7/9
Just depends on your itinerary. The nearest beach is Coco beach which is about an hour drive from Orlando. Keep in mind it’s 4th of July weekend, so I expect rates to be inflated. Possibly look in and around International Drive.
I've stayed here many years ago. I actually really liked this hotel. IHOP is right next door. Room was clean, and the pool was good.
Did you like the Kalahari or Wilderness Resort better in Wisconsin Dells?
Oo that’s tough. But overall I would go with Kalahari.

The living room is going be a NO lol but everything else looks good I like it’s super spacious. A Disney room would easily charge over $800 a night for something that big

I'm a huge MSC fan. I will never understand complaints about the food either. I've been on a variety of ships and each time the food and overall experience has been incredible. Great video!

I don't understand why motels in Kissimmee have to be dumpy and gross. If I could own a motel it would be modern and clean but basic, and $35/night.
The shuttles are typically free. But they should not expect you to go through hoops for that. Moreover you could walk to Disney springs and take a bus to one of the resorts and then catch the parks buses.
I remember back in the early 1990s it was the Orlando Penta. After that, Crowne Plaza.

Bro. U open every drawer. Flush every toilet. But pull up one couch cushion and don’t confirm it’s a sleeper sofa? People wanna know how many family members can sleep in the crib. Nit how much shit they can store in the dresser and if the toilets flush. Come on.

Palmer Gulch is a KOA campground that also has a lodge, nice place as well.
When you were at this resort, were you a timeshare member of their resorts or were you able to stay without owning their timeshare?
I was able to book it normally thru Priceline.
Do you go through the Walt Disney world entrance ?
Showers have been updated. Water comes from 3 different shower heads (1 regular, 2 over head, 3 horizontal adjustable height). Also a sitting bench-like on the opposite end of the shower.

You said (1:00) that if felt like Holiday Inn, I stayed there in 1995, it used to be a Days Inn hotel back then, seem almost identical to how it looked back then, same entrence, same lobby, same rooms, same pool, the starbucks used to be a BK and looked a bit different, other than that, just few Innovations over the course of almost 30 years.

Beautiful Grand Tuscany Hilton
We loved that place for years. Its totally a crap hole now. So sad. Drank many a draft at that cabana bar. Such a nice property to let go like it has been done. 😊
