    Hi can anyone tell me if I can use this tablet without having to use a keyboard on the side? for example if I use zbrush and want to pan the model, can i do so with the shortcut buttons that the tablet has? I am aware the tablet needs to be plugged to a computer, I am considering buying this tablet and would very much appreciate it if someone could let me know if I can use it without a keyboard. Thank you.

    Yes, in a somewhat indirect way. For example : Rotate a cube around it's origin, then move the pivot outside of the cube and animate the rotation again

    It's a matter of listening to my viewers. A lot of my viewers have moved to Blender and for a long time I did not follow as I felt Blender was not mature enough. With Blender 4.0 I finally decided to follow

  • @luigimario8001
    @luigimario800118 күн бұрын

    @MHTutorials3D Yes, I agree. Ever since Blender version 2.80, Blender has had a huge amount of improvement in capabilities. Now, there are some 4+ multi-billion dollar companies putting funding in Blender (some 20,000+$ grants, I think). I'd expect it to grow SO much more. It's great to see you giving Blender a spin, Mike! Watching out for more Blender-related tutorials!

    Hi Mike. I have watched many of your tutorials over the years. I am curious why you decided to switch to blender? What advantages does it have over other 3d programs (besides cost)?

  • @MHTutorials3D
    @MHTutorials3D20 күн бұрын

    To be honest one of the main reasons is that more and more of my viewers are transitioning due to costs. My videos have always been aimed at beginners and I must listen to my viewers. In addition, I have to admit that with Blender 4.0 things have changed in Blender for the better. It is a mature program now in my opinion

    Im really having a rough time. trying to put Celtic knot symbol on legs of modeled wooden table. Not coming out at all like urs and doesn't even look like its laying on top of the already textured wood legs. Really could use some help. I went to google images, grab a row of celtic knots, changed the direction. Right off had issues. Yours you hit control I to invert. But mine never did that.

    Just finished watching all your videos on 3DCoat. Thanks for posting these. Most tutorials have terrible audio and its very hard to keep watching. I really want to like this software. But I'm a beginner in 3D modeling and I don't know what to look for in a 3D software. It's amazing how no one talks about 3DCoat, no Blender vs 3DCoat videos and stuff like that. And the 3D coat main channel can be worse than some 17yo blender tutorial. I'm also considering Blender and I'm learning a lot of shortcuts and functionalities that I hope there is on 3DCoat, like randomized transform for example. Worst case scenario I want to use 3DCoat for retopology and painting.

    A subscription model of any kind stifles creativity. The creative process for artists sometimes has long periods of NOT doing anything until the idea or inspiration comes. Also, a subscription model is biased against slow learners, as they will have to pay more to learn the program. I used to make art using the 'reflection' feature in Liquefy and Adobe removed it. I quit my sub for all of these reasons some years ago.
