All USA pilots sound the same in all videos... "Alright, cool. I'm gonna pick up the aaaa." Makes these videos quite boring.
Great stuff. Like seeing your content. But it is interesting. Your A&P charged you for new alternator and "module" for a broken Field wire plus the labor? They did not check the resistance in that before getting you a new alternator? I suggest you take a look at Mike Bush books you will love them as a new pilot owner.
Having flown the SR22T I was amazed at how far GA has come! I can see why these are selling so well. Anyway, back to flying suits & co in Longitudes for me nowadays. Bit of a yawn tbh. Stay safe sir.
Really appreciate the play by play from the check off to landing. Really loved flying the Cirrus S22 out of Carlsbad with Palomar Aviation. Taking off, had that remotely down. Landing - ug. The drop, worry, push for some speed, oh shit too much speed, psych myself out - instructor took the wheel :( . All four times. No fun failing four times and $2,300 out the door. With so many aviators on your channel, including yourself - open to suggests on flight schools or confirmation that $500 each trip is the usual cost of training. With Carlsbad AP up the street from me, it’s a shame to let that opportunity go. In the meantime, I’m doing simulation, care of my home made simulation that isn’t that bad right now. Thank you,
Spend a million more and buy a used Honda Jet....it is smoother, quieter, faster, flies higher, and burns less fuel than the Cirrus VJet....and has a lavatory so you can truly use the 1000 mile range without taking a break every three hours
Had the burrito at Pecos on my way back from Florida. Sedona has a great restaurant as well as the beautiful sites.
@@HighlandsInvite yes Sedona is very nice for sure! I love the approach and landing on a huge table top lol.
When flying over LA can you smell the POOP from up there ? 😊
@@joepecorelli1099 not at all. It’s quite nice actually. Great views, especially at night.
Great content, Sean! Keep up the good work.
@@AerodynamX thank you!
@@AerodynamX thank you! 🙏
Love your vids. May I ask what business are in? Apparently,😊 it's profitable!
@@ajmelodic I’m a contractor for replacement windows. The plane helps getting to and from my offices in different cities.
@@Cirrusly-Sean awesome! Thanks for your reply.
The Cirrus is a nice aircraft! Retired Navy pilot here. Flying in the LA basin is a good exercise in situational awareness and focus on safety - good job. I noticed before your takeoff you tossed your phone on the right seat. Also not sure if the backpack there was secure. You might consider ensuring everything in the cockpit is secure in case you encounter turbulence or any maneuver that could dislodge loose items. Don’t need stuff flying around inside the aircraft or going where they shouldn’t be. I have very little time flying VFR and when doing so in small aircraft am completely outside my comfort zone. I am much more comfortable on an IFR flight plan. Fly safe!
@@jaygallamore562 yeah I usually have my flight bag on my right seat, but probably should secure it better, especially in less than favorable conditions. I’m still working on my IFR currently, hopefully I’ll have that rating in a couple months.
Whys he say towards the beginning of the flight that he cant fly into the clouds?
@@brandonjones5096 In order to fly into clouds you must be an instrument rated pilot on an instrument flight plan. I’m not instrument rated yet, but have flown in clouds with my instructor, it can definitely be disorienting if you are not careful and focus on your instruments only.
Do you know Renee?
@@ashleychapman5418 I don’t think so, are they an instructor?
I love watching your videos, but I'm conflicted because it just seems so dangerous to have divided attention between flying and keeping KZread entertained at the same time, especially during high task saturation times. Stay safe out there bud!
@@dsinha99 I’m always keeping safe. I won’t do more than I can handle. If things get busy, I stop talking so much lol.
They are so funny, are they nervous about the flying or about being on camera with dad?
@@747FoSophie more about the flying thing. They are not camera shy girls at all! Lol
@@Cirrusly-Sean The more they fly the easier it gets :)
Brilliant 👍🏿
@@noelsey13 thank you!
@@Cirrusly-Sean They are off to a great start in life with a Dad like you! I was only a teenager when my Dad took me for my first non commercial flight in his beloved C182 RGII. Before that I only ever flew with him a few times when he was FO in the venerable 727. Now aged 91 he still has very fond memories of his flying career as do I having retired aged 62 in 2020 after 41,237 flight hours. Watching your video made me as emotional as I was on my final landing at YSSY. Happy days sir!
Neat raidio. Call but. I would say white cerius tall number
Controller sounds like he is a really cool controlling ( TWR at arrival) How he says CEEYA to people and still being pro. Also awesome save on the falir! if your ever in AZ lmk! I fly out of FFZ
Dude do you pluck your eyebrows?? How gay are you!!??? Be natural Sean! be a man!
Very cool. Love it 👍
@@daxflame163 thank you!
Keep it up bro!
@@SoCalAmateurPilot always!
Awesome 😎😎😎😎😎. Love the video.
@@maritestaylor8458 thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Sean Yahns' got the best shit, just came across your video, made it half way through before I recognized you, glad to see you're doing good! Let me know if you ever make it to Oshkosh for the airshow, I'm right around the corner in Upper Michigan now.
Lol!! Hey man! Yeah hopefully I’ll make the next show for sure! We gotta catch up!
Great content & energy! What a dream to fly in this region (I'm from Europe).
Thank you! I want to fly in Europe one day! That seems like an amazing adventure!
Hey Sean currently in my PPL stage, and will be going through instrument, CFI, and multi engine. Hope to be done by April of next year. Do you find the Sirius SR22 to be an affordable and forgiving plane coming from a Cessna 172s?
It’s definitely affordable if you’re willing to go with a G2, but you will more than likely be flying with my current avionics, the Avidyne Entegras. All good, but not as up to date as these newer models for sure. I love my plane, and she is forgiving to a point, but it’s a high performance aircraft, and you must stay ahead of the airplane. You would love it though!
I have a safety observation to share with you. Your daughter’s seatbelt needs to lowered down to her belly button. If something was to happen that seatbelt buckle location would not work the way you would want it. Great video, keep it up. :)
Yeah I know. I didn’t look over to confirm she had it lower. Thanks though!
nice video...surprised the panel doesn't show AGL my tablet does...wheels up! 😁
Hey dude, can you make a quick vid with your gopro and audio setup?
I’ll get that video put together soon.
Never seen using your safety belt like your daughter on your right front seat.😂😂
nice video...kiza always a good place to fly...wheels up!
When the plane took off, the daughter's giggling is the exact depiction of when someone says "I was giggling like a like girl", which was exactly what I did the first time I took off in a small GA plane.
Hahaha! Yeah me too! Truly! 😂
Nice to see you again, Sean! Keep it up.
Thanks! More to come soon!
Don't leave us hangin, Sean. Did you get it down on the ground ok?? Second landing was sweet, btw.
Lol, yeah third landing went perfect! Thanks for the kudos!
Good stuff man! Im a Student Pilot and recent subscriber to your channel in the last few months. I’ll be flying all the way into CMA this Sunday from Whiteman on my first short cross country. 👍👍
Get it man! That’s awesome! This flying thing gets pretty exciting and addictive…but I’m sure you get that already.
Lovely family! I need to complete my license so I can take my kids up there
An absolute blast man! Finish it so you can do the same.
Awesome video! Hopefully your daughter will get to fly with you again in the future.
We will do a fight going to the beach soon. Thanks for watching!
Your daughter has a really interesting way of wearing seatbelts. Great enthusiasm though, get the one in the back to start taking lessons!
When I heard your one daughter say that she had a boyfriend I literally felt the pain coming from your voice, good luck brother and keep those young ladies flying
Yessir! Lol. I’ll definitely keep them flying and exposed to aviation! Thanks for watching!
As a father with five daughters I feel your pain when my youngest said she had a boyfriend, she was literally 13 years old and I about lost my mind and wanted to grab my gun. Thank God I raised my daughters to be bad asses so that wasn’t necessary, but still
Yeah it’s hard to hear! Lol. They’re good girls though, and trust them 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Grab you're gun? Typical American mentality.
Seriously I want to convey just how much I appreciate this video! 5 minutes in and I subscribed. Great audio and video quality along with a genuine feel. As I’m only 17 this is the content I look forward to as I think about one day having a family and flying around with them, so truly thank you for these videos!
Thank you! I appreciate your nice comment! This is a dream come true, being able to fly and sharing that with others, especially my girls. Thank you for watching and commenting! You’ll have your chance soon.
Your daughter looked so confused when you started talking pilot, with your AWOS, ATIS, and class Charlie.😊
Oh she was so confused. Lol. But perhaps sparking an interest in her to look into aviation in the future.
Wow, twin girls! I have one daughter-who’s eight, and she has been flying with me since she was 18 months, you are double blessed. You should fly up to Halfmoon Bay KHAF. Park at the south end of the field and you can walk to the little town of Princeton to some great restaurants and the beach.
Thank you for the message and comment! I will definitely check out that airport very soon, and perhaps record it for the channel. The girls are 14 months apart, but seem very much like twins lol. Such a blessing!
Hooyah! Thanks for checking us out Sean. In my 20 years in the Navy, I was in an A-7 Corsair II squadron, multiple F-14 Tomcat squadrons, a S-3 Viking squadron, and even a P-3 Orion squadron. Love your videos. You have great flight and safety ethics, and awesome attention to detail. Keep raising the bar on your skill set and go for IFR! You "Can Do" buddy! GB 🙏🏻☝🏻❤️✝️👣👣⚓
Thank you so much! And thank you for your service!! You must have so many stories to tell I’m sure! I’ll keep on working on IFR, it’s much needed. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
Thank for sharing this unique family time through which we even got the pleasure to know a little bit about your wonderful wife and mother, and her care for all the family. All the joy this world has to offer, your family has!
Thank you very much for that comment! Life is good friend, life is good.
Nice ❤️🇺🇸😊
Great job Sean. They're just thermal bumps but nobody enjoys them. I love those calm sunset flights in smooth air. Good memory for you and the girls. Seriously, if they enjoy it, they could be flying for the airlines in their early 20s. It's wide open. You don't even need a college degree anymore - big savings for dad.
Thank you so much! I want to expose them to the aviation life for sure. They may very well take it up as a career! Thanks again!
Very cool. Enjoy your girls. They grow up too quick. Cool dad.
Thank you! Yes they definitely do!
Get your CFI so you can *legally* teach your daughters! Since getting my CFI I've solo'd my brother and it's incredibly rewarding.
Heck I’m still working on my IFR! CFI would be a while from now for sure. Thanks though!
@@Cirrusly-Sean Baby steps man, I was in your shoes not all that long ago. Good luck with IR!
We're talking EYEBROWS on this flight!!!!
