Honestly, you can just hammer a flathead on the speaker connector to get it loose. Very weak joint. Thanks for vid!

Hey man, would you guide me where I could get those speaker adapters for rear doors as I have installed front doors and struggling to find anything for my 6 1/2" rear speakers ? ! Looking forward to hearing from You soon.

For the adapter plates that I used it actually came with the speakers themselves. Unfortunately not sure if you can get them separately. The speakers are Polk Audio DB 652. They came in the box with them.

Very neat job. My 07 9-5 is also Titan Grey. I own 4 Saabs and have never been thrilled with the sound on any of them, though at least the 9-5 is a lot better than my old 9-3s.

I don't think it's a serviceable part. I didn't find any when searching online for it. You could try and find some junk speakers from a used Saab 9-5 online or at a junkyard and use those. If you are wanting to keep your originals in case of swapping them back in.

I've been using 0w40 for years. Decided to try 0w30 advanced fuel economy for easier winter starts. Got 235k on mine. In the "i don't care anymore" mode. It's now my spare car and the rust is advancing. Interesting to see if my mpg improves
