Will this work of you use black paper?
Excellent 😀
nice
Lovely. May I ask what paper you were using?
It’s a paint chip sample from the Home Depot :) Do you see the little Behr logo? It’s a nice surface perfect for silver point. For the silver, I got a piece of a 2mm silver wire and sharpened it with sandpaper.
@@IkumiKayama Omg, you're kidding! Lol, very clever idea to use a paint chip. Well done.
04:01 Brush for highlight: smaller & normal mode. Opacity & Flow 60%.
1:46 Soft Edge Brush - Multiply, Opacity & Flow 30%, Airbrush on. She used 90px and spacing 25%. Other Dynamics in on, maybe for pen tablet sensitivity.
can you make it into a gif?
I love water color the best. It's my favorite medium to work with. I studied Japanese water color painting and sumi-e when I lived in Kyoto, Japan in 1988. I haven't painted in water color in quite a few years now.
What is "Option Delete"? Are you working on a MAC?
+Blaise Gauba Yep I'm on a Mac. Option+Delete is same as Alt key+Delete on a PC.
+Ikumi Kayama Thank you Ikumi-san. Greatly appreciated. By the way, your tutorials are very good. Easy to follow.
+Blaise Gauba Aww thanks! I'm so glad you find them helpful. Feel free to let me know if you think of another Photoshop topic I should cover =)
+Ikumi Kayama Thank you. I am always trying to learn new things in Photoshop and Illustrator. I got my hands on a program called Manga Studio Pro EX5 (a while ago actually) and I have found that it is a really cool medium for creating other ways to do illustration work. I'm still learning how to use this program as well. I've been using Photoshop for almost twenty years now, but I have only used it in a limited way, and therefore do not know the entire interface of the program. But I am always trying to expand my knowledge of these programs so that I can be a better artist than I think I already am. ;-)
I like your video, but the aspect ratio makes it hard to see. It would look better filmed with a video camera with a top down perspective.
+Joyce G Thank you so much for the note! Thanks to you, I discovered how to turn videos 90 degrees in youtube. =)
Thanks for this! Extremely detailed and helpful!
