I have been on this roller coaster before and it was super amazing, but it was quite intense as I did it when I was only 11 years old and I think it made me lose some brain cells but it was a really cool experience!

I rode it this past weekend. Glad I did it before I rode any water rides because I felt like I was going to slip out of the ride 75% of the time. The negative G's are insane for a lap bar ride. I'm honestly surprised some of the people in the line were allowed to ride it.

People in the comments talking about it being unsafe and LITERALLY slipping out are spreading some really dumb misinformation. You'd have to break your femur in half or be well below the height minimum to fall out. It's engineered so that anyone who is above the height limit would have to fracture their femur for the seat to let go of your legs. You don't really think of it and falling out of the seat is a natural fear, especially on the Velocicoaster which is DESIGNED to make you feel like you're being ripped out of your seat, but it's never happened because it is physically impossible. I've got a good anecdote from the 6-7x times I've ridden the Velocicoaster. I love coasters but still hold on for dear life, but on a night ride right before close, I got on the coaster and went full goldfish with my survival instincts. I got first row and entering the stall (extended upside down section) my lanyard with my passes fell out of my shirt and the negative g's opened the cheap as all hell clasp Universal lanyards have. I caught the lanyard above my head, towards the ground, and I could entirely feel the lapbar and seat locking on my thigh with the entire weight of my body. Intamin and Universal have way too high of a budget and reputation to even allow a suicide on one of their coasters.
