Other Fun modification....sharpen brad nails, and silver solder 4 of them to the Bail wire. It becomes the Impailer Gladiator.

I have spent over a month trying to trap a mouse in my kitchen. Today, I put a chewed up tootsie roll on the mouse trap, and within a couple hours, he's trapped. Thank you!!!

Just moisten small piece of bread ( or similar staff), make small ball of it and wrap around trigger. Let dry until firm and use trap. You may mix bread with peanut butter or seeds or raisin etc if you wish.

Sir I pray God forgive your sick joke It is really an expensive one I just unsubscribed from it Peoples lives have been ruined by arrogant and ignorant people playing God in the medical field and else where. You are really adding salt to injury These people are crying because their lives have been ruined and you want to joke about it You must be absolutely desperate and heartless I hope people never get to joke about your miserable life

OK, on day 6 over here with traps being licked clean. I'm trying for RATS now, not mice. I had that tootsie roll completely wrapped like you did, 100% molded and formed around the trigger pad. And yet it is gone. The other 2 traps are "kill bar" plastic models and they are cleaned out too, over and over. COULD IT BE that even though I have rat holes in my garden the mice are the ones getting away with the bait?? I can't see how they can unravel a solidified tootsie roll without blowing the trigger.

I actually have a phobia of peanut butter but I still use it on traps. I will try your chicken wing idea but when it comes to peanut butter you're using the wrong trap. Try a footplate victor trap and get thick peanut butter and try to jam some of the bits of nut in the gaps for them to tug on. As for cheese, it is as you say a myth. In actual fact they don't like cheese at all. They love nuts! I had a double catch using victor foot pedal traps with corse peanut butter jamming bits of nut into in. I even had a trebble at one point although 2 of them were babies. These victor traps I use are sold here in the UK and they claim they are "pre-bated". I've never tried them without a bate but they work great with peanut butter. 🤮 It's just hard for me due to my phobia.

For elbows, and or bends insert a flexable stainless steel shower hose in the pipe to keep it from kinking. Just be sure the hose doesn't have ends on it or you won't get it back out the pipe without cutting it to remove it.

Peanut butter works on other traps but he ate the peanut butter clean off. This evil mighty mouse took bate use also tiny amount. People put a lot of bate you can't. A tiny speck of peanut butter or I used fluff. Sticky and can't be moved. Don't ever use Krazy glue bc the smell is strong like nail glue. Don't use

They ignore peanut butter. They move trying to and go around it. High I Q mice? What now?

  • @Goku14635

You’re doing something wrong or using the wrong kind of trap if the rodents keep licking the traps clean without setting them off. Mice and rats love peanut butter because it’s sweet, oily, and similar to what they eat in the wild (nuts and legumes). Every time I’ve had to get rid of mice, small amounts of peanut butter plus Victor snap traps with the yellow pedal work fine. Even in this video you imply several times that the rodents are attracted to stuff that’s sweet and sticky which contradicts your point about that kind of bait not being effective. Either set up your traps more efficiently or invest in better traps (or figure out how they keep showing up in the first place).

PB on the bottom didn't work for me however Tootsie rolls are amazing. Prior to this I've caught maybe 3 in the last month or so with PB. Enter the Tootsie roll, 6 in 2 days! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

To catch the really small mice, use three traps together and make a T with them. Put the first trap against a wall so it snaps towards the wall, then put one on both sides of first trap. PB works great, the mouse will eat the PB on first trap. Then it will turn around and start eating the PB on the next two, S N A P, as it’s enjoying its last meal.

Peanut butter works 100% in live trap. I set out tootsie rolls ... mice never touched them (game camera).
