What’s the reasoning for the braid between your weighted steel and your leader? I’m planning to run weighted steel after this season

Great tips…can you please share your sonar settings for fishing vs running? Hz and sensitivity levels. Mostly for fishing deep water salmon. Thanks 🙏

Hi Cap'n Ken, I'm looking for something to use in place of annoying 7 strand wire for divers in salmon fishing on the Great Lakes. I presume from the title of your piece that you've found 19 strand can be substituted for 7 strand for divers without any real difference in practical use. Is that so? Have you found that the wire diver dive curves still apply? Thank you very much but please reconsider you selection for background music. Thank you

God Bless you Cap'n Yvan, With all due respect, complaining (including dropping the F bomb) that you need to buy a bunch of tackle because you bought a bunch of boats isn't a good look for a successful charter captain. Thanks

Hi Cap'n Marc, Can 19 strand wire be used instead of 7 strand wire on wire dipsey set ups? Thanks

Hello Matt after watching your video I am seriously considering getting set up with weighted steel. Can you please make a recommendation on the line needed and the real size needed to accommodate the steel line and backing? Thanks,
