    @@dannys721 They can meet the ground if you dont guy out the bottom. It keeps the mesquitos out and is great for wind and rain but it certainly isn't a "no bug zone".

    I have the 380 Pro Hunter with a 20hp Mercury, it goes 38km/h top speed. Getting a 7 pitch propeller to replace the 9 pitch propeller. Should get a top speed of 42kmph

    Funny you ask... one of the strap buckles broke recently on a super windy day 😂 but never any issues going full speed on a calm day.

    They are launching wheels. I purchased them from stryker and mounted myself. I have since purchased the dually wheels which are much better if you will be pulling a heavy setup onto the beach often.

    @@BCMountainLife Ah I see. I was curious about the brand. I got a pair of Quicklok wheels on mine, though its a much heavier boat. About 700 lbs with the engine. Can still deadlift the nose up, though I would never (or could never) beach it on a shore like that haha. I use a block & tackle to pull it on the beach. Just island hopping. Very handy thing those wheels for a solo boater.

    BUYER BEWARE! This tent frame's sliding mechanism is defective from the factory and broke off in my hands upon initial set up. RBM'S answer for a fix was to send me a replacement part that didn't fit. If I can save one person from the nightmare that I went through, this comment is worth it. DO NOT PURCHASE!

    That sounds some like some shitty luck man... with any product there is bound to be defects occasionally. Mine is still going strong, owned it for around 4 years I think.. Customer service from Bereg Canada has always been top notch aswell.

    Its held up great so far. No air leaks or water leaks. Had it out about 20 times. Stored inside and a coating of sunscreen every winter.

    Love the mount on the bench. you should cut the bolts and use acorn nuts they are rounded at the end. Great video

    I have never seen Okanagan lake so devoid of other boats, ever in recent times. In my by gone days in the 50's and 60's you rarely saw another boat even near Kelowna., Nice to be up past Vernon for some peace and quiet.

    Great video, I was just looking at getting one of these screen tents. I've had the problem you faced of not having poles marked properly in the past, once I figured it out I just put a wrap of colored phase tape (electrical tape) around where the markings were missing. Camping/fishing season is coming, gotta get ready.

    I ended up buying a 15hp yamaha for the boat. A 9.9 should be perfect for fishing (trolling) and cruising with 1-2 people.

    @@BCMountainLife the up-5 is a beast and weighs a ton more. Do you think 1 person can manage the opening the up-5? That is a concern of mine as I contemplate between the up-2 and up-5 🤔. I would only use it for 2-3 people max

    @@Bryan24k8 I use for 1-2 adults or 1 adult and 2 kids and wish I had more space. Cots and a table are necessary and they take up alot of room. I'm an average sized guy, physically fit, and popping up the UP 2 is easy. I have full confidence that I could pop up the UP 5 by myself. If you are a very small person and lacking in physical strength it may be an issue though.

    Very observant of you but I didn't take them off, I just forgot to install them initially. Either way, I was running 2 motors and wasn't far from shore so really not that risky. If thats scary to you, you should see how I earn a living haha..Thanks for watching :)

    Yes the little merc is perfect for smaller power restricted lakes, I have since up graded to a 15hp for big lakes.

    If your only using it for fishing it would be ok but I doubt it would get on plane with more then just yourself in the boat. I would say thats underpowered for a boat that big.

    @@jdh8835 Sounds like a good set up. The 9.9 should troll the 380 nicely and will allow you on smaller lakes too. Probably plane 2 people?

Okanagan is a tough lake to fish especially if you don't know it well but there are deffenetly huge 20lb+ rainbows lurking in there.

Would have been nice to meet up and go fishing but I moved to Pennsylvania for now. Definitely miss the lakes back home. Keep the videos coming. 👍🎣

    Awesome video and congrats on a beauty rainbow! One little tip, if youre trolling a heavy ball on one side and you have to fight to keep the boat going straight, dragging a small bucket that's tied to the other side helps a lot. I do that when I troll for salmon out of my inflatable.

    Yes I am aware of the hazards of falling off a boat with waders on. Launching an inflatable boat from a rocky beach in the winter time is why I am wearing waders. This is winter boating in Canada, if I didnt have to get into the water to launch and land the boat, I wouldnt be wearing waders. I thought that was pretty obvious.

    @@BCMountainLife The boat is in great shape. I made a few amateur errors and had to get it professionally patched in a few spots, but again that was my fault. I have the wooden transom before they revamped the boat with the aluminum transom, no leaks so far on the wooden one though. As for the rpo, I just received it. I purchased the same size as my 380 lx 12'5 feet. so now I have the STRYKER PRO 380 (12’ 5”) INFLATABLE BOAT. It has so many upgrades and lots of bottom protection. I have a electric start honda motor 20 hp i saved up for.

    You need a rectifier, or voltage regulator. Yamaha makes an oem one. Any dealer should have them or can order them for you.

    Cut those bolts down and use a acorn nut so they can't rub on anything also hiw did you mount the transponder for the sonar

    The transducer is suction cup mounted to the transom.
