Funny how something that "isn't an expensive luxury car" has far, far higher quality interior plastics than almost all modern BMWs.

The problem with today is that we live in a wash goods society.Dealerships put tech in new stuff and guess what eventually it leads to expensive maintenence.I blame mercedes Benz for that.Back in the 70s 80s and 90s stuff was more simple now prices of cars go up.And I'm not 100% if the reliability is there it seems like after the mid 2000s when I was in high school it was the golden age of quality look at reviews on toyota and Lexus now days. With credit and all that dealerships expect you back in a few years for something new.Its sad goimg from a quality goods society to wash and goods. There was an article posted about the fact buy year 2040 another 20 years 80% of the population won't be able to own there own car.Stuff keeps going up in price waiges don't increase no one will be able to afford it.So Basicaly the social elite will be the only ones driving.Unless stuff changes. To my car enthusiasts.Just thought I would mention as food for thought.

I have a beautiful 1995 Toyota Corolla that had 95,000 when I got it for $2,300 in 2018. It now has 135,000, still runs great and I wouldn't change cars for anything. Its a great car, haven't had a problem yet. Oh what a feeling, Toyota!

Wait, wait, WAIT..."The Simpsons" did a commercial for these? That's pretty rad. (I had a '93 as my first high school car. My mom had a '98 brand new. Just gave it to my brother last year; 280k miles on it and no major issues, cosmetically in good shape. LE with power windows, sunroof, CD player).

I miss seeing these cars on the road back in the late 80's and early 90's back then when cars were made to last forever, without the useless technology trash. Just a simple basic interior, and easy to work on engine without the plastic pieces in the way. These cars are rare now, I don't even see them around anymore, sad to see them disappeared.

Cause people don't maintain the maintenance and tuneups, and how they drive it too will effect it over time . Also car accidents happen, abuse, people junk old cars cause they think it's to old or something simple that doesn't make the car start but junks it anyways (most did that with 70s and 80s cars).
