With my grudge car any time I’m at a track doing testing I always run NT so the board doesn’t light up with my times in order to keep it private, so that’s pretty much the same thing. Between 200-300 HP is right in the wheelhouse of what I would guess; I was thinking like 260ish flywheel HP.

@@aycentroid Haha anywhere near 1000 HP with an all motor BDG would be INSANE! Typically these engines are considered stout if they make over 200 HP naturally aspirated so everything above that is good.

Please tell me what type of fuel system and ignition system you used for such a build! It would help a lot Also are some of those parts in house fabrication? If so well done ! I might have to see if you’ll do some custom work for me

We had parts made and found a few original. The cylinder head is a full conversion from a FJ20. The footage is our own dyno cell.

Yes, a rally spec engine for a mk2 Ford Escort. The results showed it performed better than expected and without any issues that needed addressing before sending it to the customer.

We like to make sure the engine is enjoyable to drive as well as giving the power. We spend a lot of time on the carburettors and distributor to make the idle and bottom end just so.

What is the point of showing an engine on a dyno ? Not Very interesting <But i like Mantas so I would say around 260 at Best As the Works Mantas Never Were any better than Fords BDA <Rally Engines Need Torque Not the Best HP unlike a Track Car As it Needs to be able to pull Well out of Slow corners and up Hills also wrong gear selection etc etc

We like to film a customer's engine and then send them the youtube link along with the figures. They can then show the video to others if they choose. And you're of course correct with needing plenty of low end torque, but the secret is getting that bottom end just right while also keeping the top end power :)
