  I have a general Lee CB radio and the high power works beautiful when you go to low power it's got a carrier but no modulation what could be the problem with my general Lee

  Hi, is it normal for the top cover to get pretty warm, not hot just realy warm. I'm running an external fan on the bottom of the heatsink Stays nice and cold.

  I just picked up one of these 94HPC radios in trade to throw in my Jetta. It is the perfect radio in all but ONE thing, and that is no SSB, if they added that, it would be as good as a quad 5/qt60 imo...... those are great, but just too big for use in a small auto.

  I'm really interested about this mike. Here in Italy the price is much higher than in USA. We can have it for 260 euros ( about $280). Please, before I pay so much for this mike, can you make a video with an audio recording with am- fm-ssb transmission samples? There aren't audio clips on the web, so it's impossibile to hear the capabilities of this mike. thank you very much

  I have the Radioddity QT60 version of this radio. It is simple an easy to convert to 11 meters, no soldering necessary. It was obviously built to be converted. Like any other menu driven radio, it is a real hassle to set it up. There is a USB mini port on the back, and with the proper cable, you can go to the manufacturers website, download the software, and do the programming on your computer. I didn't program any channels/frequencies into the memory. This thing has some serious power on AM, it's hampered by the mic on SSB, though I have been able to talk to Australia and North Carolina from the southwestern U.S. on SSB on an otherwise stock converted radio. I do have an amateur license, and 10 and 12 meters works surprisingly well on such an inexpensive radio. But I have a full featured HF radio, I bought this for use as a CB, and it is a good one. If I have one complaint, it's the looks. I like the old school chrome front radios. Anytone and Radioddity have one that looks like that, but it has quite a bit less power, and despite it's much simpler look, it's even harder to use.

  Do you do repairs? I’ve got one of these it got worked on by a guy out in Tennessee it’s been great but I hadn’t ran it in awhile then I hooked it up and couldn’t hear any static regardless of where my squelch was set but it’ll pick up strong signals.. very strange

  Shit I get 100 pep with the stock IRF-520. Not worth the extra to do it for an extra 11 watts.
