There are two capacitors,C1(start capacitor)connected in series with the centrifugal switch and it provides starting torque.C2 run capacitor connected in series with the running winding and in parallel with the starting winding.C2 provides smooth running of the motor.

The cable size for the utility company is supposed to 10mm ,coz the 6mm cable would eventually start to heat up coz of the loads

You are right,the hammered cable drop from the pole to the gear equipment is of 10mm thickness as per IEEE regulations.

Double pole(MCB) is present in the distribution box,5Ampheres rating for lights and 12A rating for the sockets(power points)
