It is true the problem with CVT is overheating, this car if you carry 5 people onboard and travell long journey you will start hearing the CVT starts whinning and the engine surge in power struggling to accelerate, and if you climb some little hills there is a lack of power.

I'm from Germany and have had the SUZUKI SX4 2.0 DDiS 4WD Style (built in 2011) for about 2 years. I previously had a Toyota Corolla Diesel for a long time and it took me about a year to get used to the SX4. Yes, it's loud, yes, it doesn't have a smooth clutch, yes, the interior isn't that comfortable and the front pillar is sometimes very distracting. And yes, it also rattles, which sounds like defective wheel bearings. But what I personally found most annoying was the remote control and all the things you have to pay attention to. The only advantage is that it's impossible to accidentally forget the electronic key in the car. What do I love and appreciate about the SX4? It is very lively and overtaking is a lot of fun. I always have the feeling that I could always get more power out of the machine (if I wanted to). I don't have the feeling at all that I'm driving a lame car, quite the opposite! the I-AWD is an extreme enrichment and helps in the snow but also on muddy paths and slippery roads if you have decent tires on it. apart from brake pads and an oil change, the oil seals of the rear differential have only been changed once - nothing else! and you won't find any noticeable rust either. Hi i own a W203 C320 it is smoking on a cold start releasing white smoke out the exhaust for about 10 seconds then it dissipates thereafter it does have soot on the inner walls of the exhaust tip and to add to that sometimes when i drive it at lower soeeds i can smell the scent of burning oil, and to add to that it has 200 000km on it

I have a 3008 1.6 automatic 2011 , 53000 miles, great car but now suffering from constant dif filter clogged, I take it on long runs at 3000 revs 60 mph for an hour this clears the triangle warning symble and the dif message then 4or5 days later I get the same warning coming up on the dash . Any info on this please

I learned to drive in a Frontera; absolutely loved it and I'm really tempted to buy one again. Ours was the 2.2 diesel and the supercharger decided to break at one point. Then, 2 years later, it decided to fix itself. Witchcraft.

I am driving my third 156 in the Netherlands. I owned Alfa's now for over 20 years. I have owned so many cars before I bought a 156, just as it's the most beautiful sedan design ever. As a young boy, I used to, as a non mechanic, take my Triumph TR3 apart and put it back together with repairs of course. Not one of my 156s gave me a serious issue. No rust on any, only some predictable repairs. And on time a new time belt and waterpomp. I didn't want the Busso, for fuel consumption, besides they are worth a fortune nowadays here. At present, I owe the 2.0 JTS 2004, also no oil burner. Lovely flexible engine, better than I had with the 1.8 TS. If they would take the 156 in production again, I would buy it, as my last car, as I am 76 years of age.

The FX35/QX70 is awesome. Hands down It's amazing. I love mine and have not seen anything else I would want south of 100K. I love that you can see the contours/humps on the hood, it helps you place/point it on twisty roads.

6/11/24,, me and the grand kids been enjoying my 2009 for yrs. Over 200thou, only major issue was the REAR DIFF BUSHING. after 165 thou, but got the Z1 bushing kit, as a replcmnt., and all is good since. INFINITI is a rip off for replc. parts. The aftermarket are just as good, or even better. I luv this suv, and will pass it on to my grandson #2, he love it too, he prefer to ride in it, more than the Tesla.

Have had my 2016 since Feb 2021 and it’s hands down the best vehicle I’ve owned. Just hit 100k miles recently too. I’ve been told by a few other QX70 owners to change the differential fluid and bushings so I’ll prob get on it asap especially seeing another comment about it. Good to see another person love the vehicle so much. Mines on my KZread channel if you wanna see it. I put a lot of effort into customizing it. Have a good one.

I have the 2013 asx 3 diesel 1800 4x4 , from new and I have driven from London to Italy twice with none of these problems, I found very comfortable to drive it may not be a ferrari but it can motor when I want to , the only problem that I hah was rear off side caliper seized , then I drive through the forests in wales when I go mountain biking, yes I am pleased with the car.

All I know is that I picked up an 02 Hyundai Accent HB L 2 door in January 2024 for $3600. Bare bones model(no ac) from manufacturer, manual 5 speed transmission, and only had 72,000 original miles(i researched it). I have at least another 200,000 miles on it.

In 2022 I bought a second-hand 2016 pearl white Grand Vitara with only 5K mileage from a relative. Other than the AC needing a freon recharge and a few minor scratches here and there, the unit was good as new. It was a steal.

The 4N14 2.2 engines are cursed with a balance shaft problem worldwide. Mitsubishi deny the problem. Main symptom is a loud rattle at idle but quietens as revs are raised. Best fix is a balance shaft/coupler delete.
