  I have used epoxy mastic to get the needed shape of the mount for my helmet and than attached the mount to the helmet with two component epoxy glue. Now it is there for good! 👍 😁 It was my intention to attach it once and forever anyway, so why would I even think of using self adhesive?😎 For the rest, - this is a very good way out for people with difficult helmets 👍

  Hi, your video is very thorough, and you worked exactly as I would have. The link you provided for the light bulb is no longer good. Can you please direct me to another H4 bulb where I can separate the housing piece, or do all of them do that?

  The instructions from the website say you dont need that metal bracket, tail light only bolts back in using the 2 8mm bolts.

  You can never go wrong with Ohlins, but YSS makes good stuff too. Never personally bought YSS but they have a great rep. Based on my experience, I would go Ohlins.

  Do these headlights work on a 2017 xsr700? Ive tried a vrand that assured me it would fit but the headsyncs get in the way of the clamp

  Hey there! Just wondering if you have updated your mapping since posting this video? I have a 2022 XSR700 with a Two Brother's Exhaust and a performance air filter system very similar to what you have. unfortunately, power commander doesn't have anything but a base tune for my bike right now. I was hoping I could see your map as a good place to start my tune from.

  I got rid of the Power Commander about 2 years ago. Went with an ECU flash using Dynojet Power Vision 3. Waaaaay better. But I can see if I still have the map.

  you do not. now if you also change your air filter, I highly recommend you do flash your ECU, or get a power commander. check out my other videos on ECU tuning .

  Hey thanks for showing this rear mud guard. I'm actually thinking of just keeping the rear fender / chain guard off. Just leaving it without any guard. I love the clean naked look next to the shock. I live in Portugal and never ride in rain, but do sometimes go on things like fire roads. Is there a danger to riding without the rear fender / chain guard? Do components wear out more?

  Technically no. But the underside of your bike is going to get pretty dirty. And if you ever put a tail tidy on, you'll get water and mud up in there. Really up to you. The chain guard is more of a safety measure to prevent stuff like clothing from getting caught in the sprockets. Again... totally up to you if you wanna roll without it.

  They help some but sadly the engine cover can still touch the ground... I've only had my XSR for two days and I dropped it today in a tight turn. I was barely even moving and didn't get good footing when it started to tip and it went on over. It ended up scratching the bottom of my engine cover on the left side.

  How much oil #20 oil total ? Do you need two pints or just one ?

  You're going to want to buy 2 bottles, but you wont use it all. What you want to do is pour out the old oil from each individual fork into a measuring cup, so you know exactly how much oil to put back in each fork.

  I know I’m 3 years late , did you find that you needed to tilt the camera more back so it’s pointing more upward since our helmets are at a downward tilt? To make sure it’s not just recording too much handlebar/dash? Or was this set up; mounted close to helmet , okay ?

  I used a J connector from GoPro to move the camera more forward, away from the helmet. That way you can tilt it back further.

  They’re all very lean when they’re stock. They need about 8 to 10% more fuel depending on where you live the FP3 can only help. Get a high flow air filter as well. You’ll notice a huge difference in performance.

  Just straight up kit. You adjust sag post install using the preload adjusters.

  For all that work I would have installed a cartridge kit such as Ohlins FKS 204 Street NIX 22 Cartridge Kit, or a emulator (gold valve by Racetech or similar).

  I'm from Australia, now in phillipines, the traffic can be insane,in the provinces, dogs goats çhickens, just lay on the road,you have to dodge the dog poo,,in the towns,I see stacks every day ,so suit up mate and stay alert,you can relax when your on the hiway
