    I prefer the high notes of the universal and low and mid of the classic

  • @Ledinkster
    @Ledinkster5 сағат бұрын

    Universal is slightly broader sound, but the tonal palette on classic is richer IMO, except for higher range above the staff. Above the staff, the Universal rings out more and has more brilliance.

    Just different. Not necessarily better or worse. But it is super cool to see the difference in tone between all of them on the same cup.

    @SamuelPlaysBrass I was thinking the same thing! Different tones using the same cup! I guess ultimately the musician always makes the difference.

    @@SamuelPlaysBrass Yoo I watch your videos! I'm bout to be a sophomore and I wanted to branch out to other trumpet-like instruments. What do you think of the king cleveland 602 cornet?

    Love the scale advice, but I did notice it said "for all players" at the beginning, and then basically immediately went into him doing some crazy shakes for flexibility

    This ain’t a mouthpiece problem lol, your attacks should never sound like that. I don’t even think a mouthpiece should change it

    I honestly like his mouthpiece better. It has a much fuller sound versus the fuzzy sound most lead mouthpieces have

    Personally, I liked the sound of his mouthpiece. Could be because the other one is new so he doesn’t have as much control and familiarity with it.

    I'm confused, when he plays, he most definitely pulls his upper lip back....as well as his lower lip, when playing in the upper regerster. No way way is he playing on the red of his upper lip when playing high.

    What mouthpiece of yours would be close to a bach 3c? That's what I play on now and is what's most comfortable for me. Love what you do.

    They have a mouthpiece comparison chart on their website. But the closest, accurately, to a 3C they have is their 2L and 2L2.
