I enjoy working in the shop especially unique or one-of-a-kind projects. "I'd rather make it myself" is sort of a mantra for myself. If I can buy it or build it, I usually build it. You can see me work on everything from woodcarving to building furniture and fix-it-up projects around the house. Enjoy!

THANKS.
Do you sell paper templates?
Finally! This was exactly what I was looking for!
Hey Mark, Thanks for the video. I am building a hard top on my pop camper. I am not sure if I should purchase a fiberglass cloth or a mat? Which one do you think is better? Could you share where I can buy the fiberglass from? Thanks
Really cool buddy. Great skills
Its a onion figured burl that can still be figured.
Hi Mark, awesome video. Cheers.
Good work. Your website seems to be down. Have you started selling the chairs yet?
I Think the Guitar Makers would Pay Big $$$$ to Make Beautiful Guitars out of it! That is One Fantasticly Beautiful Burl! Have Fun with whatever you make im sure it will be Amazing Mark!
Do you have a video for the other kayak ceiling rack on the right?
Step one find a straight board... meanwhile from the looks of the lumber in every lumberyard and big box store I've been to straight wood is now considered a hate crime and doesn't exist.
Nice tutorial ,very helpful 👍
By the way, the audio transitioning to the left 2 minutes in is somewhat jarring. It's also hard to focus on what you are saying with all the background noise. Apparently one of the main reasons that viewers leave quickly is annoying audio. The audio sounds a lot better when you start narrating it, although there is still a humming noise in the background. The cars at the end are also a bit distracting. Hope that helps. Love the idea of reclaiming old timber.
A great idea well executed
I know it’s been three years ago, but I’ve just now caught your video. Looks great how you’re doing I sure miss my woodworking shop. We bought a class. Wife said teardrop was too small way to go.👍👍
I know it’s been three years ago, but I just now seen the video. I’m thinking you doing a great job. It’s gonna be wonderful to be out dry camping beside a lake someplace like the way you design it and putting the epoxy on the way you’re doing it all to be waterproof👍👍
Great job with this project!
Great build! Any plans available? Got some barrels and would love to give this a shot. Thx.
No, I don't have plans. If I make any, I will let you know.
@@IdRatherMakeItMyself-Net thanks!
Thank you for this, very helpful!
How did the paint hold up?
It is still going strong. No need to repaint yet.
Nice chairs you done a good job . I’m to an age I enjoy a smooth rocker maybe next video we will see you adjusting them ? Thanks
Probably not. They aren't bad enough for me to redo them. If I build more in the future, then I will steam bend the rockers.
Very simple to follow.
I recently started power carving and hot glue is my go-to to for work holding
Hi from London Mark, that's a hell of a table, you're a fine craftsman Sir!
10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (YHVH, El Shaddai, Adonai, God of Jacob, Isaac, and Abraham). John 3:10-18
9 years late, hope you are doing well. Your table was a inspiration for me.
Very nice work, Mark! Clean, neat , and functional design and build. Thanks for sharing your project- I am looking to do something similar around my garden- more so to keep the neighborhood cats and the berries out.
Cool, thanks!
I seen where you called out the radius numbers but how long did you end up cutting the leg and back pieces?
Great work. Hate the video.
A few intables would have been beautiful, tops wow!!!
Fact is: more people have a circular saw than a Japanese saw like this😂
Nice work
Awesome! Great job! Thank you so much
Thank you from Australia! That's a pretty agricultural solution, but I mean that in the nicest way. You've made a simple solution to a vexing problem and it can be knocked up pretty quickly. Izzy Swan level clever! Narrower sections can be jacked up inside the jig with strips of plywood if required as well. I'm definitely building this (and may even sell my jointer!)
Wow, it looks great!
I thought you were going to explain how you built it. Do you have another video of that?
Hi! Thank you for this! I don't need a jointer, once I make this sled. My Craftsman 15-amp planer has a 6 inch depth gauge ruler, so I do have some space to work with, if I use a 3/4-inch sled. 👍
Exelente trabajo. Felicidades. Gracias por compartir
You are a legend and a hero
Glad the injury wasn't worse...Loved the shot at the end!
Thanks Adam. I am too.
Shop is looking good!
Thank you Sir.🎉
Great video. Love that you don't use a CNC to make yours!!!
That's a great video 👍 I'm going to try this with the clasping part of the royal palm , they fall off fairly often and are fun to weave with, i wonder if these triangles will work for them 🤔
well done man !! Regards from Munich 🎉
Good job, thank you
Simplest one I have seen so far!!!
Very nice work. You did a beautiful job at repairing that bowl.
Hi Mark. Watched your video. Built the sled the next day and got my first piece of dressed timber...clearly new to this game. I had been wrestling with the need to buy more tools to get that third flat, square side for weeks. Love your work. Big thanks from Down Under
F1 owner here. Shop equipped with small dust collection system. The interior hose on the saw and the port restriction were removed. Still mediocre dust control. I finally removed the shroud from around the blade and collection is much improved. The shroud was redirecting dust out the top due to airflow not reaching the blade.
