I can't stop crying, this song says it all. My husband passed away 21 years ago yesterday. I'm still waiting for the happy memories of him, to replace the tears. Grieving is hard work, I never imagined the tears would still come so easily. My heart breaks for you, Ann, and everyone here who is also grieving.
Just by reading all these comments below I cry my eyes out, I can't imagine how hard should be such a loss. It's so heart breaking.

It was the first anniversary of my best friend's death yesterday and on hearing this song today it describes exactly how I feel. We grew up together and were friends for over 60yrs. I also lost my only and younger sister 12yrs ago,,still miss her. Life's a bitch.

I lost my 22 year old son tragically almost 14 months ago. This song is hitting hard. I just wish I could bring him back. He was the light in every room he entered. I miss him so much
The love of my life died 60 days ago. this song is so difficult to listen to! And now I can't get that line out of my head - 'you took my life with you'! I don't know how others survive the death of their truly loved one. I am completely alone now, I have no family close by! I miss my husband sooo sooo much. This song made me cry. Two years are coming up (22 of November), the pain in the loss is almost touchable. A part of me still expects him to come back home straight to my arms again. How will I manage to live without him? He was the love of my life, my safe harbour, my lighthouse. In his arms I could rest asured that noone would ever harm me, that I was loved and in his eyes beautiful. He was my world.

I lost my dad 4 weeks ago to cancer. 60 years young. we had no idea he was unwell and he died within 3 weeks of being diagnosed in a&e. He loved music so much always played beautiful songs on KZread and loved to read everyone’s heartfelt stories. He would of loved this beautiful song so much.
