  Last time I saw this paint job was in 1976. I was a little kid 10 or 12 years old in Fort Worth Texas when they rolled the F-16 in this paint scheme. I witnessed many of the early test flights. R I P Neil Anderson

  It's funny... That is how they take off. The Oregon Air Guard fly out of a runway right next to the International Airport in Portland, and that is just how they fly those things...and they are so loud you almost have to cover your ears while you are taking off next to them in a 737... even though they are 4 or 500 meters away. And you can hear them, in the Boeing as it is lumbering a long at full power, long after the little grey dot vanishes from sight

  In the 1980's, I, along with hundreds of others would hang out in the parking lot of a defunct restaurant near the runways at Stapleton Airport in Denver, Colorado and watch planes take-off and land. We were so close , that we could wave at the pilots and they would wave back !!! 🤗It would make our day and it would be so much fun. Sadly, Stapleton was decomissioned in favor of Denver International. Such great memories and great friends. ❤❤
