Several years ago I wrote a simple eBook for my little sister to get her started on her guitar journey. When I started teaching beginner guitar with Guitars For Vets I dusted it off to use as homework, reinforcing what we go over in class. To make it more useful I created videos to embed with chapters of the eBook and the easiest way to do that was via You Tube.

So these videos were originally meant solely for my students, but were tagged as “public” (largely because I didn’t know what I was doing) and as a result they’ve been discovered by You Tubers outside of the eBook and apparently some have found them useful. (BTW the eBook the videos refer to is completely free.)

I'm not a “content creator” and am using You Tube solely as a delivery mechanism. Nor am I making a dime from these and have no interest in doing so. My only desire in making these videos public is to help the beginning guitar player get started on their musical journey, much as I did nearly 50 years ago.
