5" disc sander with a 7" resin sanding disc was the perfect tool to prep my old siding. For the 7" resin discs, the hercules brand at HF where better and cheaper than the diablo brand.

A pro would have used a conventional system , not a airles sprayer . a pro wouldn't have the airles sprayer in the same room that he's spraying in. a pro wouldn't use plastic to mask the cabinet's as any additional coats of paint will cause the dried paint to flake off the plastic and land on the wet paint because of the lack of pressure controle frome using a airles.
@SkabanisАй бұрын
The plastic since the 3m white doesn’t flake the machine in the room with so much air flow he won’t have any dust…the diaphragm pump is fine I run a AAA but this isn’t a high end cabinet

From someone that stains or coats 75-100 decks per summer, this is likely the most accurate video out there. The only thing we do is get permission to throw the break back on when it trips ourselves. The home depot sanders are great but as you mentioned they throw the breaker so often. Great job pal!

In late 70's I cut 6 inches off of bottom of 1 leg of a wood ladder and just put it on the roof and climbed 20 feet up with my Graco gun with a 312 tip to keep it neat in 1 hand and my 4' shield in the other, and Ill be climbing down, finished before you get that clumsy safety crap on. If you give me your address, Ill come over to take you to the hospital when you trip over your safety line and go bouncing down the roof with the rope tangling you up. Im 63 and Im going a lot further uo today than the house in the video. Right after I stop at the dispensary. Sativa for that job.

@@thymeparzival You really don't want to use power washing to strip paint as it saturates the wood and could damage the wood.

How do mount an anchor on a tiled roof?
@shingdao73 ай бұрын
It appears as if the pressure washer setting was too high and the application was too close to the wood's surface. You generally don't want to go more than 1000 psi and also 12" away from the wood surface otherwise you risk damaging the wood fibers. Some pros will actually suggest not using a power washer for this reason. You mentioned sanding as a next step so you can mitigate some of that damage, but for those of you who are not sanding afterward, use a low-pressure setting and keep at least 1' away from the deck surface. Otherwise, good tips on using a wide sweeping motion vs starts and stops.
