This video was wonderful! I am from Canada Nova Scotia. I have been a stay at home mom with my son right from the start and I am struggle with the thought of putting him in public school. Your video truly hit me hard and made me tear up. I agree with all you have said. It's hard to break the mold specially if you don't have family support outside of your home stead.

Wow! I needed this today. We’ve been in a season of “Grace” for far too long. After pulling my children out of public school several years back, we began the process of de-schooling. In this process, I , as their mother, began to give up. I work outside the home and just felt exhausted. The burden of “independence” became theirs. Basically, I saw how they began to raise themselves. I was there. Present. Cooking, cleaning, that sort of thing but there was no rhythm to our day to day. Big emotions, caused me to check out. I don’t have any family support, if anything, my family offers more chaos inside my home. Building boundaries and walking through a separation in my marriage has not been easy. But I’m not the only one inside our home feeling these emotions. Why should I get this seasons of mourning and the children don’t? God has definitely convicted my heart and is giving me the strength to try again. This was absolutely amazing and so spot on. Even in a horribly difficult season, I know and knew that I had the opportunity to walk alongside my children. They also have big emotions. Ladies, powerful. Thank you Lord for bringing me here in this moment ❤

I can’t wait until you get to high school. I’m curious where you’re at with that? I have an unschooled 17 year old and we live in a very easy homeschool state. I signed up with a charter school this year to utilize funds and I’m just laughing at the requirements. I’ve graduated three already and know first hand how public school is all review in high school and truly isn’t anything more than trouble. She’s far beyond her years but I’d love to hone in on language arts and math. Math is her weakest link. She has various learning differences and she absolutely despises online learning. I’ve yet to find a math program that she thrives in. Any idea what you might use for math in highschool?

Don't skip ahead. My 13 year old is going into 8th grade and his math level is 7th and I'm OK with that because it is at his speed.
