How old of a house? Is it all block?
@christroupe-pr9yt14 күн бұрын
@Askmediy it's fairly new I guess it's just the particular location of the deck bc it's a multilevel. But I have a 14" bit that just keeps hitting concrete in between each joist. The inspector told me tentioners are necessary. Do I have to go inside?

I buy copper dust and dust the roof with it. I don't like the flashing sticking out. The dust impregnates the asphalt shingles and does same thing. Another point is asphalt shingles have a tack strip to keep them from lifting in wind. That copper flashing breaks that bond. Another thing is you don't have to lift established shingles trying to get a nail in and risk cracking the shingle. Dust is just better over all.

We had a three prong stove put in with clickers for the gas elements. Wondered why the clickers worked sporadically. Finally got rid of that stove and bought a new one that had a 4 wire plug. Read the install sheet and it stated 3 wire plug will not operate the clickers correctly. Now we know. Putting in a 4 wire. Luckily the plug goes straight down to the basement so the wire run will be easy.

gonna leak something here... your dryer doesn't need to be using 30 amps, in fact, just a few pico amps. the reason it draws so much is because it was designed this way (on purpose), ie, the electric company needs to make money somehow. all your electronics, really, are designed to operate in the high amp range. 15amp vacuum cleaner, blender motor, etc.. turns out, a little project that draws energy out of the air feeds a heating element in the "pico amp range" and gets just as hot as your dryer's heating element. thanks to a few advancements in this field, the electric company is guaranteed to go out of business. give it a few years..
