So this is supposed to work, 24/7?? What good is it to run when the fridge isn't cooling? More poorly thought out RV garbage...

Hi There! I'd recommend contacting your local Camping World to speak to a product specialist. They'll likely need a model number from your water heater to find a compatible replacement. Here's a link to help you find the contact info for the location nearest you: rv.campingworld.com/locations Hope that helps!

You didn’t mention mounts that have a locking feature. Alternatively you can tighten up the swing arm so it does move around when traveling.

Your wasting your time installing that junk Gerard heater I have a new Gulf Stream with one of these junk heaters or I should say warmers. If the incoming aster is cold it will not hear the water above 77 degs. Plus’s it takes about 2 qts of water before I get warm water to my shower or sink !

2 things to check BEFORE you commit to the site. Power supply for 30/50 Amp working? Water and good flow from the spigot? It save the trouble of having to move to another working location after you have dropped your rig especially if its a towable. ?

What about dumping some ice in after you dump the tank so the ice will move around and clean it on the way home? Thanks

Hey Jerry! I'd recommend tank treatments or a tank wand for cleaning over that method! Here's a couple links to those products if you're curious: www.campingworld.com/maintain-rv/sewer/sewer-chemicals www.campingworld.com/flexible-tank-wand-14497.html Hope that helps! - Tucker Ballister

I heard use white lithium grease. I also heard it can damage certain valves that are made of certain materials, not all valves, though due to it being petroleum-based. Any suggestions appreciated. Happy Easter Season 🐣 🪻 🐤

The hot water temperature is highly dependent on the inlet water temperature. Why doesn’t anybody mention that? The rv industry is very shady, people are constantly being ripped off

Proper PPE is the very first step when dealing with BioHazards. Gloves, and all mucus membrane areas should be covered. So eyes, mouth and nose. Then get after it like a pig in poo!

HI, I have just put a brand new Gen 3 system in mine, it worked perfectly for a 3 weeks, not when I set a temp it rises and wont sit at the designated tempm for example, if I set the temp at 35 C, it will rise until it get to 43 degrees C (celsius). I have checked filter,s leaks etc and everything seems to be fine. Any ideas?

I would get rid of the marker light and put the camera there instead one less hole to make. You have 2 other marker lights then seal with calk.the power is from the marker lights anyway. I did that to my coleman. It looks like i tapped into a already wired connection like the furion pre wired factory install. No one knows the difference that i have one less marker light. But what ever floats your boat.

Yeah let all that water drip inside the Rv and start warping the floor and mdf all around there. Also didn’t relieve the pressure before draining. Also didn’t use a back up wrench when loosening the water lines. They get a grade of F

The tanks don't have to be empty before you do this. Just drill the hole and put the screw in. You can lube it later and anytime thereafter.

This is the EXACT video we were looking for! Thank you for having such clear instructions and video work! We're trying to install a backup camera on our vintage RV and we kept finding videos on RV with old ones already installed, so it was so helpful to see it done on a camper without one on it! We're super confident with installing it now! And thanks for all the little tips/hacks throughout the video!

How about new travel trailer. The water smells like plastic. Is that safe to drink? Would you do this process? Or is it just time needed for smell to go away?

Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I kzread.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!
