I believe that Mapleshade was the victim considering the cat she loved betrayed her as well as placing the blame on her; Frecklewish stood by and allowed Maple's kits to drown thinking that they will be rescued, but of course it wasn't quick enough; and Ravenwing exiled a queen and her kits, who were too young to leave Thunderclan camp, since Mapleshade had kits with a cat from a different clan. Nonetheless, I value your viewpoint.

that map completely disgusts me. not just because they're kissing like humans, but because they're CATS. CATS. AND ITS A BOOK SERIES FOR LITERAL 10-YEAR-OLDS. spottedleaf x firepaw seems fine because spottedleaf does love firepaw/fireheart/firestar, and he loves spottedleaf. but animating it like that is weird. if she weren't a medicine cat then they probably would've became mates but most animators just do touching noses and stuff...

5:37 it is normal for cats to clean each other in all sorts of sections on their bodies though I don't think it's seen often but yes it's normal for cats to clean each other just, if it's a pre-teen recomended book series you are right it is kinda messed up [when I said pre-teen recommended yes I meant it because 9-12 is considered a pre-teen.]
