Those are definitely art blades taken from an EL kit. Watching the LZ Accessory video on the Stern site, they don't directly call out having 'full art blades'. Even if you gave in and bought the $500 Expression Light kit, you'd get another set of the art blades you already have. Rush cabs had the EL 'panels' and didn't offer full art blades either. The other EL game, Foo Fighters, only had full blades for the Pro cabinet that doesn't have the panels. Its like Stern doesn't want to install the side art over the removable EL panels. Hmmm... if PBL would do a return, there are some 3rd party art blades that look reasonable close.. or mirror blades. If not, I would entertain @snextime's suggestion to cut the notch and slide up.
@slinger2112 Yeah I agree.. I am going to fry and return them and if ai cannot then I will see if I can customize these.
@@TiltingT It seems like they're enough of a customer oriented company that they'll take them back unless there's some reason they can't. The blades still would be valuable to someone with the EL kit that scratched up their original blades lifting the playfield, or something like that. Good luck!
@slinger2112 I think they will take them back since they haven't been peeled, and they have always been easy to work with, and I buy a lot of stuff from them, so hopefully so!

Just cut the notch off the back and slide them up to the top.
I thought about that, but unfortunately where the hole is cut out for the hinge bolt, they did not come with that round part of the sticker so there would be a random round hole higher up on it.
Thr more I think about it, maybe I could make a plug out of the cut off piece.🤔🤔

No no mods on it yet, picked up this game and it kinda stole my attention away from doing any mods on LAH yet. It needs LEds and art blades and to finish re-rubbering it at the very least
Having had the experience of a real vintage machine, now battered and the turban a bit wonky, found in an amusement arcade on a pier in a seaside resort in England, I have to have one of these! The one that I saw, the audio was a bit wobbly and the arm movement a bit jerky, but all the better for it.
@howardmaryon It is a fantastic representation of the original machine. The Original manufacturer of Zoltar which is Characters Unlimited gave their stamp of approval before any of these were shipped..So happy that I can add it to my collection. Sometimes I think the original wear and tear on a machine like this only makes it cooler!
The name “Zoltar” is sometimes found in Greece, meaning “life. In Hungary, the slightly different “Zoltan” is still a popular name for boys born in June. And it is a way cool name.

There is a vintage Zoltar machine on the old pier at Paignton, a seaside resort on the south coast of England. It has been “upgraded” many times and now costs one English pound (more than a dollar) for each “reading”, and you get a little cardboard message to take home. Well worth it.

It was on Black Hole under the plastic by the re-entry tube. I was playing and all of a sudden the ball disappeared!

@andreadibitonto6709 you are correct unless you mod it like I did this one. I added a ramp from the dead end shot to make it have a ramp similar to the 4th one on the premiums ! Lol.. I have a video on my channel of installing it on my Led Zep and my buddy's Led Zep... A little expensive but so worth it to ads the 4th ramp to the pro.. It's a mod kit from Innovative Pinball ..( the same guy that makes the JAWS mod that eats the ball)
I just got my Zoltar . I am impressed with it. New Wave Toys has done it again, In fact I think this might be their most elaborate creation so far.

There's an old Halloween and toy store pretty close to me that has a zoltar machine and it scares the shit out of me every time I pass by it. It's called foy's Halloween store in Fairborn Ohio and it's the oldest store in Fairborn. Still around. It is from 1929. It's been open for 94 years. It's like the best place to go to. When you're bored. You can always find something to buy
