    Lousy pallet jack. I've been using one for six months and the batteries no longer work. It is also full of defects that would take time to list. The idea is good but the end result is terrible. I just hate it. If you buy this junk you will remember me.

    Hey guys, thank you for the video. I have a question. Would it be possible to use common big lithium batteries for like an RV on a forklift and what would the downside be or potential problems? If the battery voltage and amperage seem to meet the requirements?

  • @williamstoyotalift

    Definitely not an option. The weight of the forklift battery is part of the counterbalance.

    is it bad to charge a battery every time even when it has a good charge? were a 24 operation and continued to charge the walkie from a dead charge for 5 minutes and take them off. it done continuous times . boss always want me to keep the lift on charge sk ce I was moved to a different department

  • @williamstoyotalift
    @williamstoyotalift Жыл бұрын

    It really depends on the type of battery you have. A lead-acid battery should not be opportunity-charged, as it will cause the battery to go bad prematurely. Lithium-ion batteries, on the other hand, should be opportunity-charged, even just for short periods of time. If you have any questions, contact your local dealer for more information.

    I love this lift, only complaint is without air conditioning, it gets hot quick & apparently you are not supposed to drive it with the rear window open....I learned that the hard way, as it eventually fell off from rattling around too much 😬

  • @williamstoyotalift
    @williamstoyotalift Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for your comment. The cabs are awesome...especially here in northeastern Ohio where Williams Toyota Lift is located. Depending on your application, driving with that rear window open may or may not be an issue. We would suggest that you simply remove the doors during the warmer months (it can be done in a matter of seconds as long as there's not a heater mounted on the door). This gives you a fully open cabin when it's warmer with the ability to put the doors back on when the weather turns cold again. And if you still need a rear-window replacement, contact our Parts Department at 800.435.2449. :)

    Nice!! Great truck!!! Toyota definitely knows how to make an awesome forklift. The magic is in all of the little details...the way the rails on the LBR and overhead guard are angled for maximum visibility, the ergonomic location of levers, the comfort components of the seat, the System of Active Stability which adds an extra layer of safety, the automatic tilt level button on the second hydraulic. We could go on and on. There are so many great features built right into Toyota forklifts.

  • @Lela_Dax
    @Lela_Dax Жыл бұрын

    @@williamstoyotalift I do like the automatic tilt level button. And how the degree of angle is shown on the instrument panel. The previous model I drove with a cab even told me how my wheels were turned which was helpfull. I do not however like the stability assist electronics.....tho im sure osha does & my boss...lol.... I suppose they do make it a little bit more safe but sometimes they are a hindrance.....
