Well in my opinion it's because DC just works. There isn't as many problems that you can have with DC then there is with DCC. So that's why people still used DC trains.

I am absolutely sold on the level of detail on Auscision's models. And I think I've figured out the most affective way to get them to the USA. Looks like their Ebay page will do the currency conversion for me. This one is definitely on my watchlist. It and the CLP/F classes, which looks like it'll be delivering to their store next week.

Very well said 👏 I can't imagine what could have happened had it been hauling fuel tankers. Unfortunately, children are brought up on simulators from a very young age, and by the time they reach their teenage years, it's almost impossible for some of them to differentiate between the simulators and real-life. The brain for some becomes trapped in the world of simulation, and therefore, they don't have any concept of consequences due to their actions.

Nice one! Beautiful, smooth running trains. The trestle bridge at 5:15 is superb! Alot of work gone into building it. Is the bridge going into the layout? Be interesting to see a train travelling on it.

Hi Jai, I have 8176 with the exact same problems as yours, what was the process that you went through to get it fixed? ( mine has an iffy paint job aswell)

I just contacted SDS Models on their website. If you look on the side of the box it should show you the website and you can contact them that way. Just let them know what's wrong and they should get back to you. It might tack a few days for them to respond. And when they do, they should send you a fee post bag down to you. So, you can ship it back up for free. And when you get the post bag you just put the box in the bag and take it up to your post office and send it back to SDS. It should have their address on the back. So, you don't need to worry about doing the address. I waited over 2 Months for my locos to come back. So, you might have to wait for a while.

Not keen on that outer bag packaging. One drop and that nice box is going to get very dented and maybe damage the loco with the shock. Every UK supplier I've dealt with always places the manufacturer's box within a larger box with lots of cushioning between the two.

I just watched your model railway video with my young cousin, and while he was getting ready for bed, I put this on. He walked in while I was watching this, and he said, " How big is this guys backyard? This looks so realistic." I didn't have the heart to tell him 😂. Good question i check the weather and it said it was clear for three days. Also, the way I'm able to have the track outside is that i use some blankets sheets and any other material i can find and cover the track with them and i put some heavy objects on them just so they don't blow away. If you want i can make a video explaining it in more detail.

I'm from the USA and I'm like, I want one of these, it looks fantastic. Victorian Railway's paint scheme looks very similar to the paint scheme of the Santa Fe, in fact I'm pretty sure it's the same shades of yellow and dark blue. It's honestly frustrating that these Australian brands aren't readily available in the USA, which is weird because the UK brand HORNBY is if you know where to look. I mentioned Auscision at a model railway exhibition I recently visited and they're like, "what's that?"

Yeah, unfortunately because our market is so small for model trains here in Australia it's a lot more expensive and because of that a lot of other country's don't want to buy our stuff. So, your right it is very frustrating. I would like to see places like the U.S. and the U.K. be able to purchase our range of trains on the market. But unless our market changes their prices i don't think it's going to work out also thanks for watching my video 😁

No SDS haven't release the DCC 81s yet but when they do i will probably get 8155 in Pacific National and a 8117 in National Rail with DCC and i haven't seen any BLs with 82 classes

Not seen a post from you in a while Jai😅. Have you been saving up to buy all those wagons 😊. That's a seriously long and very white train. At the start there is sound from the Locos and even the wagons made typical prototype sounds. Then they didn't 🤷

Funny how lessons are never learnt, even over decades. The CSR has an engine from the country that invented diesels. British railways had problems with engines from the same country, when they were changing over to diesel traction. Vic Rails W class had some of their engines replaced with detroits.
