Can I ask an honest genuine question to Brian? I am NOT being one of these Twitter a-holes, genuine question. Your leadership and perspectives are phenomenal. I’d love your take on why, despite your amazing leadership, Airbnb customer service model is just broken? Or, maybe Airbnb support isn’t broken/relevant to the survival of the company..since they’re doing well money-wise..and my assessment isn’t accurate.

Great podcast, So under appreciated. 1. Could you please remove the blue background. 2. Make the videos full screen. 3. Show only the person speaking in full screen. 4. Add "The Social Radar" as water mark in the video. It will keep the viewers more engaged.

I’m so impressed by Jessica! I listened to the Lenny’s pod and oh my god it explains the success of YC so much better. What makes us good as anything, makes us good as people! This is such an important human nature part. Thank you so much! And I wish you could talk more, and tell us more and teach us even more. Your own story is sooooooooooo deserving of attention!! From the age of 21, I’ve been running startup hubs in Ukraine and Estonia, and now we cover the whole CEE. I wish we could invite you over or interview in any way! But please, more importantly, just continue sharing 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Paraphrasing: "Being a founder can feel like being unemployed - nobody gets mad, if you don't make progress, nothing happens. YC weekly dinners created a lot of urgency - leading to the most productive 3 months"

This was such a real conversation about the founder journey. It's also wild to hear and great example of how extreme the highs & lows can be, especially when building a marketplace. A big thanks to Brian for opening up to share this in the two-part interview!

Loving the pod! One suggestion from a big fan: I would love to hear more stories from other YC founders whose startups 1) grew quickly and then plateau or didn't succeed and 2) are still early but in the growing phase. I truly think you have a unique opportunity to share stories that can help other founders understand the biggest pitfalls to watch out for and the decisions they have to make to turn into hypergrowth. While Brian Chesky is always entertaining to listen to, there are so many less well known founders that we can learn from!
