@@m.f.m.67 would love a second camera to give multi angles. My latest video has something a bit different in it. But at the moment I am limited to the helmet camera as it’s how my mic audio is recorded.

Used to live in Whitby, was praying at the start of this video 'don't go to Magpie, don't go to Magpie'.....thank goodness! I just bought a Knox armored shirt, amazing, as good as they say.

I'm using an Insta360 Ace Pro for videos on my channel, with no complaints - the only issues I've had have been user error and bad judgement. I'm sure GoPro will get their act back together, the way they're hemorrhaging users, but it'll probably take another iteration or two.

Enjoying the videos of the trip but just a query re the battery. You mentioned the AA so assuming they attended, could they not have recovered the bike to Inverness Halfords rather than you doing the return journey? I realise they might not have had a trailer etc which would have been more of a delay but just wondered👍

They could but would have needed to wait for a truck to become free which could have been hours from previous experience. We suspected the battery before the AA arrived to confirm so I set off prior to their arrival. It was a 30min run to Inverness so to try save us some time and get us back on the trip asap as we knew they don't carry bike batteries on the vans.

Skye really surprised me, I was thinking it was going to be narrow or single track roads where as it was complete opposite with some lovely wide, quick roads.

Always envious when I see people top of Applecross Pass in good weather never managed it and been up there enough times but never had anything other than heavy rain or thick fog ah well I’ll keep trying, great trip series though👍

Yeah we had mixed weather. Thankfully it stayed nice for the single track section. But stunning roads and views. Love putting the videos together as get to see it all again.

I got it from 3D printed from here. It's for push bikes I think but fit perfectly. Used some wiring loom tape on the handle bar to give it some grip so its doesn't spin. www.shapeways.com/product/WVK82T8SW/horizontal-handlebar-mount-for-gopro-the-remote

Yeah was just a bit cool on the way up, had the odd bit of rain and even hail but really lovely ride up. Day 2 is now up also. We got very wet in the morning but thankfully brightened up in the afternoon for us.

Im always getting punctures in the rear wheel... but do you ever wonder.. why the back tyre? Surely, the front must cross the path of the object first! 😂

Also thought this before why is it most punctures are in the rear. As it was smack bang in the middle the front had to of gone over it!
