The part of the title that's interesting is how if you're familiar with Amnesty, it doesn't sound out of place. "Ned's on TV"? Yeah, he tends to do that.

God, just... this is it. Wonderland this, Interstellar Blues that, THIS is the quintessential TAZ soundtrack. It marks such a definitive turning point in the story of Amnesty and reincorporates the rotary synth we've heard over and over throughout Amnesty, bringing that motif to its head and tying it to the devastating conclusion of Ned's character. Balance's plot twist is heartbreaking but nothing hit harder than Ned.

"and through that hole duck, you see something. You see a vision of these ruins, of these toppled pillars and these collapsed walls, and these like, obliterated pieces of large inscrutable machinery, all of which are completely dormant except for one, and in front of that device, you see a shadow approaching faster and faster, and then she leaps and she's here. she's holding this massive two handed sword with both hands and she's careening through the air before sliding to a perfect halt on these two large wooden sandals and then she looks back over her shoulder at you her real tangible shoulder, and she says "Thanks for the lift, Duck Newton!" "Ahh I had it!""

The fact that it's at the back end of the scene right before it is complete emotional whiplash! One of the best episodes they've put out for sure. I hate it. But I love it...

I love those little sound effects, the stutters peppered across the music that gives the illusion that it’s glitching, similar to the Quell’s speech. It gives off such this ethereal vibe that something that’s so profoundly…..off to a Human is occurring and existing and is here

I can’t believe this series made one of the most emotional moments of my life……the moment an alien ghost goat man disguised as celebrity actor Ryan Gosling bleated out the word “Pizza”

I thank you so so so much for this. It is so tough for me to describe how this made me feel When I first listened to Balance, no piece of media had ever emotionally held me in such a way before and I didn’t think it ever would again And then, on this very day, I finished Amnesty, and while I’m still mentally debating it, I honestly think it may be better than Balance in so many emotional ways. I don’t think I’ll never get that feeling again, I’d be genuinely surprised if the McElroy brothers never hit such high notes of podcasting as I’ve yet to see any of the other arcs like Graduation and Ethersea and Steeplechase I am so utterly profoundly lucky to have discovered The Adventure Zone. And I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to listen to these songs on their own whenever I want so I can experience all those impossible moments for the rest of time as I reminisce on how fantastical and hilarious and sad and utterly baffling bat shit insane this all is

amnesty has got some serious feels to it the music is just so evocative as well. you can download all of the taz soundtracks for free on bandcamp from griffin, then can you really listen to them whenever! (if you pay a dollar (which’ll go to charity) you can stream them from the bandcamp app (otherwise you need to download on a desktop and then transfer it to your phone).

Reconciliation basically means restoring something into a friendly relationship So basically, this was all an attempt to make the universe friendlier for the D,O,M, and there long dead people

Unfortunately, they went about it in a terrible way. With the system that had, they probably could’ve set it up so dangerous planets perfectly suited to make peace with one another would connect and so so and become friendlier to future planets Unfortunately, much like Billy said, when everyone of DOM was together, it was unfortunately easy to go along with the plan

Just finished my Amnesty relisten, and it kind of is just built like a final fantasy game. Each hunt was just the story of getting to that next boss fight, slowly building up to the Quell being the big bad. Then last episode it's revealed (to the characters at least) that there was an even bigger bad. Also, I imagine Duck just copied the Sephiroth Drop but with Beacon.

The quote “You’re not from Sylvain, you *are* Sylvain” always makes me tear up. Because so much of Aubrey’s story before amnesty was her on the road without a home to go to. And in that place she found she was home.
