Thank you so much for your homeschooling videos! I really appreciate them! I saw a video that you did where you recommended a website that had a lot of homeschooling resources. I don't remember what the name of the website was though. I saved it but now I cannot find it. I have a 7-year-old, a 3 and 1/2-year-old, and a 1 and 1/2-year-old. This is my second year homeschooling with my seven-year-old. I could use any and all advice you can provide. So far it's all very overwhelming to me picking a little bit here and a little bit there, not really knowing what the best option is. Is there a such thing as an affordable easy to follow christian-based curriculum?

Love your video! Thank you for showing what everything looks like! So many videos just show the cover and the person talks about their experience but it's very helpful to actually see the inside of the books! I enjoyed the fast-paced information and you gave a lot of details. Looking forward to watching more videos!

I will be opening a charter school starting with grades 6th through 12th. I'm wondering if this would be a good program, as the children will have much of their day spent doing independent work. Is it laid out in a way that easily explains each lesson, in math for example?

The only caveat to this is that some jobs do background checks and the companies they hire for those background checks often don't recognize unaccredited diplomas. My husband has seen where good applicants get turned down for jobs because the background checks come back with unaccredited diploma's. Now I am scrambling to get my high schooler into an accredited online high school and none of them will accept his home school transcript without having it signed off by a licensed teacher. It's been really frustrating.

Hello Becky! I am so grateful for your videos! We are moving to homeschooling this year, and you helped me so much to choose affordable resources for my child. I would like to say a big THANK YOU! We are doing workbooks during summer, and we love Critical thinking company, Evan Moore, and other resources you recommended. Also, I really appreciate that you mentioned in your videos not to pay attention to the Grade Level for the workbooks. My child is very behind in LA, spelling, and reading comprehension, and after watching your videos I don't have a pressure to follow "grade standards". Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for this video. It’s been on my mind and I’ve avoided using the curriculum as a whole because I was concerned about this but my daughter is really excited about using this for everything. I told her I needed to check out and make sure it had everything that we agreed with. Hearing what you have been saying as encouraged me to research it the best I can for myself but if we do change to it and something comes up I’m concerned with it’s always a teaching opportunity. So thank you for this video. Most helpful one I’ve seen so far!!!! Bless you❤

It doesn't just depend on the age of your kids when you wanna work out. It depends on many factors. My daughter is disabled. And im her mom AND her caregiver all day. Having to do everything for her. She cant walk or crawl or feed herself, she cant even sit up on her own and is 2. So i feel so frickin stuck when it comes to finding time for myself because she screams all day if im not giving her attention or helping her or whatever. I cant be loud either because she's sound sensitive. All of that.

I am so glad you shared your heart in this video! This is by far the most difficult time as a mother, especially a Homeschool mother, watching them transition into adulthood. I cry almost every day. My kids are 29, 23, 19, 18, and 17. I am 53 years old, so I know a lot of my emotions are intertwines with menopause, which takes it to a whole new level. I too like to have they say, and everything they do. I definitely learned a lot with my oldest, however, the mistakes I Have made still somewhat linger on. I thought that homeschooling my children would benefit them in their spiritual journey. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I find myself blaming myself for the decisions. My oldest children are making wondering what did I do wrong? I’m thankful that I have a close friend who gently reminds me that they are adults and they make their own choices and it is not my fault. I lost my husband 13 years ago, so I am transitioning into adulthood by myself. I feel like I could ramble on and on and on. It’s 4:30 in the morning and I couldn’t sleep. I’m so glad I caught up on watching your videos. Another thing that is hard for me, is that, the channels that I have subscribed to are transitioning out of Homeschool and into other things like their hobbies. It’s just another show this part of my life ending. I loved homeschooling. My kids and I would do it all over again. I see this younger generation bringing their children upand it makes me miss those early years so much. Forgive my grammar errors lol I’m using Siri. Thank you for the encouragement, Becky!

Just stumbled upon your channel. I know it’s been three years since this was posted, but it’s been very helpful. My child struggles with writing. They can read, but get writers block when writing a book report. I’m going to try that book report printout that you mentioned in your video. I think my child will be able to understand this better. Where can I purchase those books you reference in the beginning of the video? Thank you.

Hi thank you for this. I've been on the search to get something that would work for me. I like the way you laid everything out precisely. Is it possible for you to link any of the free printables in yoir description. I would appreciate it, if you could. I'd like to start with this system and see if it works and can grow. Thank you for your excellent ideas. ❤

Also if you use at least 2 subjects with ACE you can attend and compete in their student convention. They have one in Tennessee and then a world wide convention that's in a different state each year

Hi there. I love your homeschool picks. I happen to cross over to @Studies weekly@ which I don't think ever mentioned in your videos. Is it extremely affordable even though I think for Science it lacks the lab envoirnment. The great thing is it is also published in Spanish for Science and Social Sciences. I was a fond of this programme mostly because I think it is a great one for English as a second language lerners (as well as Spanish as a foreign language lerners). What do you think aboot lifepack of AOP?

Thank you love your review. I have never tried TGTB I have skimmed it and not interested.. . I use primarily Abeka Math/Social studies/ Science, Evan Moore Spelling /language... And IEW ( I don't make my daughter do the nit picky stuff) it works for us, we also use Avancemos for Spanish. Tried teaching text books but I like Abeka it works for us I love math and we are sticking to it K-12

We use TGTB and we have never seen any type of mormon doctrine. The video you are referring to was created by someone who praised TGTB until she decided to make her own curriculum, then she bashed them. I don't really think it was about doctrine because, well, there is NONE.
