Will you review WWE SummerSlam 2024 PPV and telling about your experience in the show
Very Predictable PPV But Cool. How Will You Rate It.
Also, Your Every Prediction In This PPV Was Right.
Hey Sir, How was your experience watching WWE SummerSlam 2024 PPV Live on Stadium.
This was the shades of grey era in WWE for me, as the seeds of attitude were being planted here. Every match here had some kind of shenanigans or angle, and the only matches worth giving a darn about are Taker Vs Mankind, and Shawn Vs Vader. HBK Burying Vader, and throwing a hissy fit in the middle of the match was just uncalled for, and Vader never truly recovered from this incident in his career going forward.
WWF IS PRO WRESTLING
WWF IS PRO WRESTLING
Aaron John Cena Randy Orton Shawn Michaels Seth Rollins Cody Rhodes
Do you think SummerSlam 1996 is worse than SummerSlam 1995? To me SummerSlam 1996 is the worse SummerSlam in my eyes. With Summerslam 2006 being a close runnier up. Because well SummerSlam 1995 was bad it was at least trying to be a good show
If Bret had come back a few months earlier in time for SummerSlam, do you think we get the match with Austin there instead of Survivor Series?
Hollywood Hogan 4ever !! NWO Hollywood black & white 4life !!
Hey man, first have fun at SummerSlam! Second, although I agree with you that the WWE universal title match will probably main event with Cody Rhodes versus Solo Sikoa, it should not made event unless Roman is going to show back up. In my mind, Live, Morgan and Rio Ripley for the women’s championship event or you could make an argument for Drew McIntyre versus CM punk. Both of those have way more bills and way more anticipation than solo. The only way I’ll excuse that match going on last besides it being for the championship is if Roman shows back up. Otherwise it’s a waste of a main event slot. But that’s just my view. Anyway, I hope you enjoy summer slam Live in attendance!. Safe travels!
Yeah, that's the way I normally watch this. Skip right to Taker and Mankind, and watch it from there. Paul turning on Taker I can imagine had to been at the time the most shocking thing ever, like Robin turning on Batman, two people made for each other going against one another. Anyways, enjoyed this, thank you.
Was Vader actually got punished at Summerslam because of his altercation with The Kliq?
He went from winning the title to losing his spot to Sid; so yeah
WWF SummerSlam 1996 is a bad show. It's in the top 5 of worst SummerSlams of all time. The Undertaker vs Mankind is an amazing match. Next to their Hell In The Cell match at King Of The Ring 1998, it's the best match these two had against each other. Shawn Michaels vs Vader is a great match, but it's a bit overrated. Vader should have won this match.
Question- Was Ahmed Johnson ever Supposed Win the World Title in late 96 or 97 if not for injury or backstage issues?
No
Was Vader originally supposed to Win the World Title at SummerSlam 96 or it was supposed to be on any other PPV.
He was to lose at Summerslam, win at Survivor Series, drop it back at the Royal Rumble
Oh yeah, the Summerslam where Shawn Michaels buried Vader and got him kicked out the WWF. He buried what was otherwise a legendary career in Japan and WCW all because he threw a temper tantrum in the ring.
He didn't get him kicked out of the WWF, but he did end Vader's push in 1996
Yes. ABSOULTELY. Vader SHOULD HAVE won the title that night and retain until the Rumble in San Antonio. I LOVE Shawn and this match......but damn, he lost a lot of my respect that night and it took him a while to get it back. In hindsight though, Sid ended up taking Vader's spot anyway.
I watched this show and hog wild before it. Only time ill say nWo era WCW was better than WWF (pre attitude era) This show was boring until the taker match.
Was Austin cursed when it came to SummerSlam matches? At 96, he wrestled Yokozuna on the preshow, nearly got flattened when Yoko broke the ropes and fell backwards At 97, he suffered the neck injury that ultimately shortened his career with the botched piledriver At 98, he accidentally bumped heads with Undertaker and got a concussion And at 99, he got tangled up in the ring ropes. It seems his 2001 match with Kurt Angle was the SummerSlam match that went off without a hitch.
A bit yeah
@@WeAreProWrestling Plus, 99 had that convoluted main event where Mankind was shoehorned into it and made champion for night due to backstage politics.
I don’t think this Summerslam was bad. Better than 1993 and 1995 imo.
James One Question Who Should Have One There World Titles In SummerSlam Main Events Vader 1996 Or Goldberg 2003
Vader in 1996
@@WeAreProWrestling I Would Put Goldberg In 2003 When Triple H Was Hurt Goldberg Should Have Won The World Heavyweight Title At SummerSlam 2003
@@tylerhodder2453yea didn't make sense for HHH to retain and he was hurt just to drop the title to goldberg the next month at unforgiven which basically ruined goldberg run, by time he got the title the reaction wasn't the same as if he would of just won it at Summerslam
You watch reliving the war
Vader could have been a somebody in the WWE but Mr Hickenbottom had to throw a tantrum so hard it neutered Vader’s momentum.
😂 I said the same exact thing. He got Vader booted from the WWF. But Vader was always WCW anyway.
I thought Vader was in WWF until 98, I remember him feuding with kane....Vader was definitely WCW and had his best run even though he had to hold that weak looking world title
I remember this being the first wwf ppv my mom ordered for me as a kid. I was hyped more for the main event because I was intrigued with it and how it would play out. But in the end while it was a decent match, the finish was a mess and made vader look pretty weak, especially with all that buildup they put into him before this match.
All l can think of is Deebo.... What's you got on my drink Hogan!! I l l don't have anything.... Yeah!! You got something... I'm going to take your belt!! The referee said stall him out... Then Deebo said what you say punk!! Then Smokie at ringside said, he gonna cry... Hogan ran away crying
"DAVEY BOY SMITH CHIN LOCK OH FUCK YEAH" - Wrestling Bios watching this somewhere
If Vader won the Championship at Survivor Series it's changes WrestleMania 13 as well Shawn Michaels wins it back at the Rumble and we still assumed he loses his smile does Vader win it back in the Final 4 and loses it to The Undertaker? Or does WWE go with someone else
They might have had Bret still win the Final Four to drop it to Vader to drop it to Taker at Mania Who really knows what would have happened
I always appreciate the aesthetics of the set with the angled ramp
Bret Hart(Mania10) and Steve Austin had that same shiddyy finish with Yokozuna
The only difference was the rope break But yeah, really similar finishes
@@WeAreProWrestling the finish with Lex Luger, Yokozuna and Mr Perfect as the referee was worse
Good video
Questions 1. Did you think that paul bearer was gonna turn on the undertaker me I didn't. 2. Did they copycat the a little bit on this summerslam when cornette didn't come out for owen and bulldog match like how heenan did in summerslam 88 coming out rude and mega bucks match but not Hercules. 3. Sable who scared Sable like crazy mankind, the undertaker or kane 4. Grade for Marc Mero debut finisher the wild thing me A+++++++ 5. What was the other biggest thing you liked in that boilerroom brawl match me when mankind poured hot coffee on the undertaker 6. Do you feel bad for what happened to vader went from main event to down the card me yes
1. Who would? 2. No 5. Just the overall match in general 6. Yes; should have been WWF Champion
The Boiler Room Brawl was a prototype for the "cinematic" matches we had during the pandemic era (+ Broken Matt universe). Always had a soft spot for this match. Will you make a review on Ahmed Johnson one day ? Every time he is mentioned it's for "He was scheduled for that big match but got injured", it should be one of the most cursed run in WWF/E.
An Ahmed Johnson WWF episode can be done 1 day
Worse summerslam 1995 because that main event sucked only 3 matches mattered how about you
Even though this was right after the birth of the New World Order, SummerSlam still outdrew WCW's Hog Wild in buyrate (though only by 2,000 buys), attendance (by over triple), and obviously livegate (as Hog Wild had no gate).
good video

Worst SummerSlam of all time is 2010. Every single match was either mediocre or just bad to god awful. And this was the show where the Nexus was buried by Super Cena. No other SummerSlam will be worse than 2010.
MOVEEE!!!!!! 🤦
Lucky Vader was professional about things
Will you be doing what you did last years summerslams and talked about what it was like?
I may do that But will be trying to get some actual video as well
@@WeAreProWrestling cool! hope to see you there have fun!
Little did wcw Vince trying to stop the AOL / time warner merger would’ve kept wcw alive longer then march 2001
I would argue that Undertaker vs. Undertaker and Diesel vs. Mabel are the least intriguing SummerSlam main events.
Taker/Taker had the intrigue of "what's gonna happen here?" Diesel/Mabel I'll make a case for that
We got the same predictions almost I just got Bayley retaining and Rhea winning. And I agree with Solo booking after beating John Cena WWE could have made him a monster after that by having him winning squash matches even some tag matches with Jimmy Uso I hate Jimmy losing as well leading up to his Mania match with Jey but anyways I’ll have him and LA Knight in a short feud with them winning back and forth but Solo will win the feud if that makes sense.
Have fun at the show bro. As far as the Solo and Cody match, I have no idea why they have Solo in this match instead of Jacob Fatu, but it doesn't make sense. I do see Roman Reigns coming back at Summerslam, and who knows, maybe we could see a Bloodline vs Bloodline feud, meaning have Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey against Solo, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu.
Really CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre should be the main event.
good video
Happy one year anniversary of you going to summerslam last year at Detroit Michigan
Is it just me or does Rhea/Liv, feel a little similar to Hangman/Swerve in AEW in the sense of Rhea and Swerve who were supposed to be the heels in those programs somehow got turned babyface yet Liv and Hangman who should be the babyfaces are somehow the heels? it's something me and a friend were talking about a while back and I was curious on your thoughts
From that aspect yes We got Double Turns in both
@@WeAreProWrestling Thank You, enjoy the show on Saturday man
Plus, Rock even said to Cody post WrestleMania that it's just a beginning and probably we are going to see Rock as the Mastermind Heel behind building new Bloodline and maybe winning the World Title from Cody. What are your thoughts?
Probably getting Rock/Cody at the Rumble
