Why was it necessary to repeatedly show a dead horse? The points made while showing that deceased horse could have been made with live horses or diagrams.
Thx
What a load of RTE crap
You are a great jockey and athlete
Hi think that a p mccoy smilpy the best jockey 🏇 that ever in my eyes plus good bit about racing late dad was racehorse trainer then miss Victoria Jane twibell
A horse i have never ever forgot, Valiramix. I honestly think he would have gone on to be one of the best national hunt horses ever, An amazing imposing looking horse and so sad how his life ended.
And not even a look or a kiss goodbye from McCoy walking past, imagine that in todays media🤯 things were a lot different back then
I love Arabic horses and I feel proud that throuhhbreds are result of Arabic horses. Love from skardu Pakistan

Still, no horse has even come close to Secretariat. He was truly a one of a kind horse. ❤
😂
😮 no I'm hi bi no no no no no@@Nijinsky26
Without doubt any jockey riding over the fences are incredibly brave and highly skilled. In an age where athletes from many sports are horridly pampered, these jockeys stand alone as model athletes and paragons of virtue.
There is never going to be a substitute for nostalgia. I love these memories. My late father was a non gambler but made an exception when he backed AP on Make A Stand . What a slick hurdler and what a jockey!
That's interesting, ive read that horse rearing was introduced to Ireland by the Normans, and that horse-racing and other mounted sports weren't known until the 17th century under English rule.
Love horses
This was brilliant till Graham Bradley darkened the door...McCoy would never fix a race
I have just lost my Connemara of 22 years , irreplaceable, magical ....forever in my heart
I am so sorry for your loss. They live on in our hearts 💖🤗🐴
Watching the constant growth of such a destructive "industry" as Horse and Dogg Racing, simply gives greater credibility to Socialist Planning, Industrialisation and full employment. At least 800 race horses are killed each year by vets and many more are slaughtered cheaply for sausage meat. Justified by "creating jobs". If this is the beat Capitalism can do for work creation, then how on earth can we justify putting down an alternative economic-sporting system which does not rely on or need this destruction?? Not to mention the millions of bankrupt punters.
Good history thanks
Hes a fantastic role model and brilliant jockey some of the comments are from ignorant people 👏
Every where when you look at a successful horse, you will most likely see Northern Dancer somewhere down the line
NOVICE NEED TO KNOW: When is artificial insemination and embryo freezing used with race horses?
In thoroughbred racehorses? Never.
I’m sorry but I believe Kentucky is the horse capital of the world
Was a man who cares about his horses the big grey took a lot out of him was the greatest young jockeys should look at him and think before they take a bung or stop a horse hard work and determination goes a long way
7:28 Dudley!!!! LOL!
ew
The true Champ is Thick Mick Fitzgerald what a poor jockey and a real Thicko
Here's a fact. 95% of all 2 year old winners trace in male line to the Darley Arabian. Almost NO stallions standing at stud do not trace in male line to the Darley.
Sir ???? Thick paddy
What 🥺🥺
All crooks every last 1 and all the so called pundits are all arse lickers who would never dare criticise a bad ride.oh no they cannot possibly criticise.fucking assholes
I'm thrilled to see that among Invincible Spirit's ancestors are Sir Ivor, son of Sir Gaylord out of the one and only Somethingroyal, dame of half brother Secretariat.
He should be nicknamed the un breakable
Great documentary. Well done. In my book, "Black Deuce," I did my best to express my love of horses and racing. www.amazon.com/Black-Deuce-Stan-D-Jensen/dp/1547296585/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=RNNDSH36NW24MFBGJ172

The Irish certainly are good horsemen worldwide but the very best horsemen ever known in the world history without a doubt are American horsemen in fact Irish horsemen came to the United States by the hundreds n the 1970s for farm manager trainee programs just to learn how to do it right!
Weanlings sell for 7.5 mil in KY.

Who came from Europe before that.
They are unbelievable
But there will never be another SECRETARIAT !!!!!
Vishal Singh ... overrated! Who did he beat again?
I'm very impressed with these information, I now want to be a trainer. Who can I contact.
Great documentary based on one of the greatest sports In the world.🏇🏇🏇
If the horses are naturally so good, why do you keep beating them and tying their tongues back during races, and using harsh bits? Why are they killed after retirement? There is nothing natural about that.
Seems to win easier every time I watch it
