The purpose of a video is to show how you did the job, in detail. Maybe use a small tripod and set it in position so as to video what you are doing in detail. A blank screen on KZread is total unacceptable. Just sayin.

On the collar that threads in under the seal, is that normal thread or reverse thread. Thank!

Been using a impact for yrs.maybe not ideal but I buy sell atvs can't buy every special tool.just use common sense.

Do you know the part number for the seal?

If you do not have large channel locks or you cannot get them to bite you can also use a punch, tap and a hammer the tabs down.

Awesome video, super helpful! I have almost the same unit (CDC-755). I appreciate helping people fix stuff like this instead of just throwing it out. Seems like such a waste.

Hey, could you please give me an idea of the depth and width of the four "pins" that engage in the nut? I'm going to try and make one of these and I don't have a spare nut as a pattern. Thank you.

Update! I found a 35 mm deep socket at Napa Auto Parts store it's called a Napa evercraft 35mm according to the clerk who measured it for me is 47.5 MM and it is approximately 65 mm of depth inside which should clear the output shaft
