Back in the late 80's, some of my friends bet me I "Couldn't/Wouldn't" try anything with my 64 Dart (2wd!). I drove most of the Pipeline road, up and over the hills on the south end, and climbed up the back side of the Middle wall! Was all for the money! I know I shouldn't have, but it was an easy challenge and it was fun! I'm sure it is roughed up and rules against it now.

Joey B Thanks Joey. There wasn’t really a need to air down. You’re mostly on harder packed roads and I didn’t spend a ton of time in the sandy areas. There’s enough there though, that you could. Have fun!

Are the trails tame and wide enough to not beat up a brand new truck. Would like to visit here with an ATV loaded in the back.
@mhhunt5 жыл бұрын
callofdutyguy9 There are plenty of trails there that would be fine for your new truck and also places to park and unload your atv, if you wanted to set up a basecamp.

Marcus! First timer question. If dirt then 4x4 mode? Powerline road looked 2H to me. thx!!
@mhhunt6 жыл бұрын
Hey Jeffrey. You can easily do the powerline road in 2wd and probably most of the surrounding area as well. When you start getting into the steeper hills, softer sand/dirt, etc. 4x4..

exactly what Ive been looking for, been wanting to take my 2wd Tundra somewhere fun but without much sand. this is perfect, thanks for sharing. did you air down at all or did you run regular psi during your excursion ?
@mhhunt6 жыл бұрын
I'm way late on the reply. Ha, I didn't air down, as I only played in the sand bit briefly. Hope you had a great trip.

Cool Video. You can also enter park at Smoky Bear Exit-note there are no services at this entrance. A few other close areas for you to check out are Rowher Flats, Azusa Canyon, Frazier Park has some nice dead end trails - fun in summer and winter when open, BC109 is a nice large riverbed to play in as well.
