  Wow, i never knew LBC was branching out from the Labries. To be frank, I cannot stand the buzzing sound of that Roto Pac, it is not appealing at all lol. Don't understand how that mechanism csn even pack well, stick to the normal blade panel haha. Is this footahe recent? Any idea why they haven't rolled out composting yet as mandated by the state? How are they getting away with it? I bet WM would be the ones to pick up those cans.

  city is exempt from state mandates because the collection is technically done under the city, not any other company

  @@5hartingtonthat’s not how that works.. California Law requires that city’s have a complaint cart color code regardless if the collection is done by a private hauler or not. The body can be of one color but the lids must be Blue for recycle Black (or gray) for trash and Green for Organics for single family residential. Long Beach likely has an extension however green carts are making their way to Long Beach real soon as their extension is to expire and they will be cited for non compliance. They will eventually have to give up the purple and go blue.
