Ullrich was amazing. Remember well how he dominated. So surprising he won only one TDF.
Great programs.
Sagan is much better. He was tandem 3 times the world campion.
Those 2 are greats with different style. On speed Cav is the best but sagan more strong than cav,
You will 100% of the time beat me going up the hill, and you will 100% of the time be beaten by me starting at the top going down. I use to cycle down a hill daily hitting between 127- 131 Km/Hr, why because I'm bloody heavy and have a cross sectional area marginally bigger (more drag) but other cyclist reach there terminal velocity given the angle and their weight. I have just discovered a hill twice as long and twice as steep, but it's the run off at the end I'm worried about due to my weight I'm not keen on braking as wheels may already be stressed by speed. If I brake it needs to be slow and gradual as I don't want welds on front fork or drop out to be stressed. So I need to do full speed run to bottom and slowly sit up to air brake and then stand for full drag exposure and then bring on the brakes. I see the current serial production record unpaced is 210.4 Km/Hr for me to do that on a road with traffic would be risky but possibly doable. RedBull if you are watching I have an Excel Spreadsheet with calculations. Drop is 253 meters over 3,000 meters Grade 8.43% Surface hard pack chip seal (motorway) Acceleration 0.82M/Sec on grade, with drag adjusted 0.52M/Sec CFD .25 X-Section 1.2 M Air 99.9 Kpa NTP Cycling Power 1,000-Watts plus for 5 seconds Note gradual uphill before downhill start so can hit peak / start at 40-Km / Hr plus Terminal velocity on angle calculated to be above 210-Km/Hr
I’ve ridden both mountains and feel they’re both fantastic but very different. Ventoux is an exposed slog that torments you with a view of the summit which doesn’t seem to ever arrive. It is also hot as hell, windy and with little shade. d’Heuz is much shorter, steeper and invites you to push hard. But in the final analysis, I’d say Ventoux is the harder ride. It is a monster.
Lousy video done on little research. Don’t waste your time watching it.
Armstrong era is**when they were all on EPO** but it didn't take owt away from the Tour
Oops thought this was Cycling Highlights
LEGEND AVV❤
I’m sorry for the negativity, but the editing of the video is all over the place. Showing several repeats throughout, and showing a lot of irrelevant footage.
Grande
Excelente 🎉
Didn't know riis won the tour as a 12 year old 😭🙏
Armstrong was stripped of his titles making Jan the real Tour winner all those years.
Marco Pantini is the Saint of the Human Condition - Marco rest in peace - love forever
I love Peter Sagan 😊
Its amazing to me that the incorrect written grammar here is also spoken incorrectly word for word. He sounds like a native english speaker but doesnt have a grasp of correct grammar.
I grew up thinking Lance was a workaholic which was so great breaking.
bahamontes, yes. The best.
Garbage video.
Your french is top notch!
Best climber I ever saw. Was lucky [and privileged] enough to ride alongside him during the rollout of the 1998 TDF in Dublin. Saw him again atop Mount Ventoux when he outsprinted 'Arsehole' Armstrong to win that stage of the 2000 TDF. RIP il pirata.
Where’s Sepp Kuss? He’s young but has already had an outstanding career
To be fair he’s not really had the chance besides the Vuelta to showcase his talent. He could just as easily be up there if he were to get out from under the shadow of Jonas. He is definitely an outstanding climber.
peter sagan pra mim é um dos melhores velocistas do mundo igual a mario cipollini são lendas.
Riis was definitely not 10 years younger than Ullrich.. No need to continue watching the video from there on for me
I don't wanna see Van Aert getting pucture anymore 🥲
For me Sagan >>> Cav
Jan is a legend of cycling. If he was a vegan smashing in the carbs and eating low fat he would have won even more as his weight problems would not have happened.
He just admitted he doped. So surprising. NOT!!!!
video starts at 2:36
Shame about the commentary on this video.
Third
Thankfully, Jan is doing better today.
I like Sagan riding style. The attack and maneuver during sprint is amazing. In sprinting quick thinking and quick decision are vital in winning the race.
Sagan wasn't a "pure" sprinter, he was a classic type rider, but many times he out sprinted the world's best sprinters, he was far more versatile rider than Cav(never see him winning up hill sprint), so the better overall rider is Sagan.
this video could have been 3 seconds long. the best sprinter is cav , not just now but of all time. Sagan isn't a true sprinter and wouldnt rank top 10 of all time.
You mean Sagan wasn't a "pure" sprinter, but way more versatile than Cav! Never seen Cav winning up hill sprint.
@@user-vm5qf4qk4t . totally agree. Sagan was a GC rider that never realised it. the video was about sprinters and Cav is the best of all time . i would have liked to see sagan go for a GC as he had one of the best tactical minds in the sport .
@@steviecbfyou never heard of a guy name Mario Cippolini, you're probably too young !
Sagan shouldn't even considered a top level sprinter. He's a freat cyclist, but not a top sprinter. Cavs hardest opponent was Marcel Kittel.
GOAT
Cavendisk max speed is higher. Sagan is stronger. They both are top sprinters
The video and audio have nothing to do with each other. It's like you just added subtitles for whatever point you were trying to prove. Terrible journalism
Hard to listen to someone mispronounce a name over and over and over again
And not just Jan's first and last name. Andy "Schelk" @2:00 was a nice touch as well. 🙄So little effort was put into this.
@@jacquesdemolay5171the Brits are notorious for not being linguistically adaptable….but I think otherwise this required some effort.
He butchered Joop Zoetemelk even more 😂
GOAT
Pantani
“He did this by stamping on the pedals” -> Well I’ll be damned, you’re right! I was confused, but now I know how he does it!
More ligelyldige english wc Simpson who dies, get a life
The amount of wins don't lie, plus Sagan has now suddenly retired mmm...
Nice, I will add the 100km+ breakaway on 2019 World Championship, the Tokyo Olympic TT win and 2023 7th stage in Vuelta where she hang on and win by 9 second as best moment
Induráin vs Rominger (Tourmalet 1993). Indurain got back 50s at the top during the downhil. And Pedro Delgado (alias le Fou des Pyrénées) in 1983
He was way to respectfull of Riis when they were in the same team. He should have been the leader a year sooner...
