Briden Farm

Briden Farm

Briden Farm is a near 22 acre homestead and developing farm located on the Mountain on West Branch Bear River and backing on Franklin Brook, which flows through the Southern tip. We’re secluded enough to be peaceful and private and yet close enough to enjoy the amenities of the community Bear River, and nearby Digby and Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. At Briden Farm we employ a number of both traditional and modern practices, including Rotational Grazing, Regenerative Farming, Deep Bedding, Composting, Natural Gardening, and More! We invite those with shared values to Subscribe to our Channel and to come visit us at BridenFarm.com

We rent goat herds here in Folsom, CA. We have quite a lot of wild areas especially along various creeks. With high fire danger in summer these goats do a great job of thinning out the underbrush, plus the adults and children get a kick out of watching the herds at work.

@@kurttate9446 it is quite something to see how they work and the land improvements. By clearing out undergrowth with goats, fire has less of a task. Are the goats partial to certain types of young trees? They must eat seedling and sapling trees right along with other stuff. How does that affect the forest growth patterns? Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
