Hi guys, welcome to my channel.. just an absolute metal detecting nutcase who detects as often as possible.
I mostly hunt beaches or in the ocean, but also do a few parks when I am in the mood.
I have had this channel for a few years but only recently started uploading regularly, and am improving the quality with each video

My scoop is custom made by Philip Potgieter and is about 10lbs of solid 3mm stainless steel as I break any other scoop ever made!

@@DanKoning777 Im confused... how was I offending you ? I explained my incorrect use of terminology that you found offensive ... any metal that we detectorists do not find as precious is referred to as junk metal ... zero value... not the item itself

Some minor storm swell our side at least last week ... sand is already back again uff... lets hope we get some more swell soon!
Well, Bryan, you know how it works if you’re not first your last so you have to basically hit it the beach every Saturday night and Sunday. It doesn’t help that we put out a lot of videos because it gives people sometimes false sense of reality! They have no clue how many hours we had the beach to make a video.
True story .. but when this vid was uploaded our beaches were sanded in typically for this time of year here... we had our fist minor winter swell so the finds have improved again! GL out there ... appreciate the sub!

Welcome and thanks! I do paint in a lot of different directions but most of it harkens back to Impressionism. Sometimes I like to let the colors fly in a more Expressionist manner.

That giant silver ring sounded awesome, what a great find. Listen to the tones before you picked up the bracelet, multiple hits or chatter as it hit each segment. Cool.

Turf hunting can be a challenge sometimes. Nice hunt.
Yeah mostly cleaned out the coins a few years ago but no spot is hunted out completely.. always something to find

Interesting hunt,so used to seeing you on the beach or in the sea.
I love inland hunts... On the beach you know what you will get ... inland you never know what may show up under the coil!
Enjoyed the hunt, and you got 7 rings! A ring is a ring is a ring. Better to find junk rings then can slaw. Haha

Hi Brian Thanks for the video. Things have got very quiet.Very sanded in and winter has certainly contributed to a lack of donours. Found a small 9ct ring at the "hoek" and a pretty ladies Paul Hewitt watch at the "berg'' even the coins are drying up.... Keep posting I am enjoying them👍
Lekker man... im sure there would be stuff being lost somewhere! I'm hoping the berg loses some sand again soon or else it's a long wait until June for our first decent storm front

Is this a good detector for 2024 still
Absolutely... the difference between the 600 and the newer models is minimal... even the manticore is not hugely better ... besides.. the best detector is the one YOU know or have the most experience with... take the time to learn your detector and it will serve you well!
Awesome hunt congrats! Were you in a tidal pool of sorts? the water seemed very calm. Keep it up!
Enclosed bay ... completely surrounded by rocks... very calm at low tide or when the swell is minimal... appreciate the support!
