The story of the NOVA is a tale of unexpected success. When the company was founded, it was initially thought possible to sell perhaps 100-200 gliders annually. Today, NOVA is one of the leading paraglider manufacturers, which through innovative products and sophisticated design concepts has made significant contributions to the development of our sport.

My first wing was a Prion 3 ❤
Mine too. It made me not failing flying school. 😊
good job i hope some day to buying one
"we have several brandnew wings with us" - for the Dunes? 🤢
I am yemini girl that lives in Qatar my whole life. Visiting Socatra is also my dream but I never get the chance to🥲 I hope someday the war ends and Socatra will be an island that it taken care of. Thank u for this amazing film🤍
Can you tell us where it’s filmed? Thx.
Land in water. Game over....
You could say the same for literally every other pod harness on the market
Perfecto exepted the crash at the end , some will Never walk again After this
Please do not try this at home! Nick Donini is a professional athlete. He lands on an air cushion that is floating on water. The landing raft is basically designed to ‘crash’ on it, if needed. Happy landings!
I don’t understand that
Press the CC button on the top right corner to start the subtitles. Then switch language to English.
This test is bull. He gets out of the speedbar during, and even before the collapse. You can see it 100% in slomotion. How can NOVA support such a crappy show?
Taking your feet of the speed bar should be everyone’s first reaction to a symmetrical or asymmetrical collapse during accelerated flight. Test pilots are not supposed to stay in the accelerator when they induce a collapse. His timing seems a little off on one manoeuvre but he repeats the collapse with better timing straight away. It is not easy to perform everything 100% accurately while talking to the camera so we think Theo is doing a pretty good job. We hope that Theo keeps supporting us in future and we will always support him as good as we can.
this test makes the wing look safer, than it is. Every pilot, that joined a siv knows, that you need to pull the wing down and then get out of the speedbar, for a real collapse. This test is a marketing gag, that can cost lifes by underestimating the wing.
and no, the timing did not get better.
There seems to be a misunderstanding here. This is not an SIV. Theo’s idea was to replicate the certification process. He mentioned it at the start of the video.
Does PRION 6 have BTI (Brake Travel Indicator)? or only PRION 5 has this functionality?
There is no BTI on the PRION 6 but the 20 mm wide risers of the PRION 6 feature many useful markings. Right and left are colour-coded (green = right; red = left). The same colour-coding can also be found on our harnesses, which prevents the harness from being connected the wrong way. In addition, the corresponding risers for Big Ears and the B-Line Stall are indicated below the maillon. The colours of the three line areas (A, B, C) stand out clearly from each other, as do the corresponding risers. The clear riser design helps you to keep your head clear for flying.
Super super super schön!!!!! Danke für dieses Film-Erlebnis!
Awesome film guys. I remember seeing the original and it blew my mind, what a place!
I want your helmet. Why don’t you sell it? It has an option for a 360 degree anti collision strobe beacon light at the top of the helmet. So other people can see you in the fog!
Vielen herzlichen Dank für den wunderbaren Film von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde.
Just imagine what this place could be if people would spread love for each other and nature...
Great dream, Great video. Same desires to fly there as you, thank you for fulfilling them for me and making me participate. With the best wishes.:-)
Amazing video thank you so much for sharing I can't wait to join you all in the air
oh yeah PRION 6 :--) what a fun day it was to film the video!
Ordered mine
Incredibly beautiful and yet also tragic how this region is pushed into war
Top!!! btw, what paragliding movie was he referring to?
"Forgotten Island" 🙂
Amazing place to fly, amazing movie! Joy everywhere! 😍
Genial 👍
When Dreams Comes true 🎁💫✨
Incredible footage and what an inspirational story! What a place to fly!
Epic ! ❤️🪂🤌
Yeesh was a headache of a closure system
I think it is really complicated to close, compared to others
<3 <3 <3
🎉
That's the most complicated closing of a harness I've ever seen..🤔
Doesn't look much more complicated than other superlight pod harnesses I think.
Have you seen the closing mechanisms of other harnesses in this category? 😉
Seems like lots of fun to open or close with cold and stiff fingers... 😅
Check out range xalps 2/3 for example.
@@skate2hell Try a Skawalk Range, only half the number of items to close.
Training training training 👏
Will buy one soon. Where was this video recorded?
Nice one. The video was recorded in Socotra. The full video is now out on our channel
I like the crazy hair cut like Luke Armand
Fantastic 💪🏻💯👍🏻

Super, alleine für die Theorie vom "unsichtbaren Berg", die ich noch nicht kannte, hat sich das Anschauen gelohnt! Danke!!!!
Agree - Mentor 7 Light is a pretty safe wing for an High-EN-B glider. On the other hand this Wing loves rolling when accelerated so much that i am thinking about selling it again. Anyone with similar experience?
One hour of ground handling is worth as much as 10 hours of flying. Never pass on an opportunity to ground handle a glider that someone can borrow you, is what I say!
This should be 8K, eh ;D some of the most spectacular videos on the planet.
the foot in the end killed me 💀
Tks Theo. Good vid and explanation as usual Cheers 🇨🇦
That’s so coooooooooolll!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
You said that mentor 7 has a lower trim speed than other B gliders, so i undestood that it is with hands up, or the real thing is that it has a lower minimum speed and a higher trim speed ? Which number do you think i have to put on my XCTrack app to calculate a better wind speed ? I fly with 78 kg on de XS size, and I know that all of this is very, very inacurrated, but i have to put a number. Tkanks a lot !
Do you think this is similar on a IOTA 2 (high B)
I will say its the first of its kind, possible to also upload the testing videos?
I'm really looking forward to my own CODEX - supercool XC-machine :-)
Sounds great! I'm waiting for my new Codex!
Yes... that is how the codex is ;). Looking forward to the upcoming season. Great wing!
