    I keep reading that most of them are in the home, but I vacuum every day, treat my cat once a month and wash everything I can on hot. Still got fleas...So I bought a flea comb. Got them all off him, then checked him again in the morning...No fleas. He went out for a walk for like 1 hour, so I checked him when he came in and combed 8 fleas off him!!! They're all coming from our garden. What on earth do I do about that? Indorex the grass? 😢I'm at my wit's end with these creatures.

    What can I do with my duvet if it’s too big to wash? Is it safe to spray it or not?

    My cat sleeps on my bed on a blanket. I’ve washed his bedding at high temp as well as my own but should I spray my duvet and mattress? The duvet is too big for my machine

    Hi! There is no need to spray human bedding as flea eggs and larvae cannot penetrate through the fibres of mattresses. Washing bedding and mattress protectors on a hot wash and correctly treating the room will be sufficient. Vacuuming the mattress will remove any eggs, larvae and pupae.

    @@Ur_bestie4life Washing the duvet cover should be sufficient because fleas do not penetrate through fabric. If your pet regularly sleeps on your bed you can also hoover the duvet.

    You should not spray Indorex Defence directly onto your pet's bedding. The bedding should be washed on a hot cycle.

    Hi! After applying the product, you can start hoovering on the same day. However, we recommend waiting until the spray has completely dried before doing so. Typically, this takes approximately 2 hours, but we encourage you to double-check to ensure the area is fully dry before beginning the hoovering process.

  • @virbacuk-companionanimal8673

    Hi! Yes, you can. If you are able to move your fish tank we recommend you do so. If the tank is too heavy to move and has a pump, please switch the pump off. Cover the tank completely with two thick blankets or cling film to prevent any sprayed mist from reaching the water. When spraying, please ensure that the nozzle is pointing downwards and away from the tank. Ventilate the room well for at least 2 hours. After this time you can remove the blankets and switch the pump back on.

    Indorex Defence is dry and bound to the surface after 2 hours. We advise you to ventilate the room for 30 minutes after spraying and then you can enter as normal. We advise you to hoover for 7 days as the movement and vibrations encourage dormant adult fleas to hatch.

    It's recommended not to vacuum even after professional house spraying for fleas, where they probably use stronger sprays, because it vacums up the substance. I'd imagine this would get vacuumed even faster. So even though it states that I should vacuum every day, I'm not going to - I'll treat it like after a professional visit for fleas. To "activate" the flea pupae, I watched the video where it was shown to just walk around the whole house and just move anything in any gaps (like a brush stick etc.) and that's what I'll do

  • @Anna-pu7hx

    @@metalmarten3478 thanks for that, yeah we ended up not hoovering every day after but we did the first couple of days. Wish we hadn't because there were still a couple we'd found in the house. Fleas are such a pain, hope it works for you

  • @virbacuk-companionanimal8673
    @virbacuk-companionanimal867311 ай бұрын

    @@metalmarten3478 Once an infestation has established it may take a few weeks to eradicate. This is due to delayed pupal hatching where some pupated adults remain dormant. It is important to hoover for 7 consecutive days after as it triggers them to hatch and therefore they are exposed to Indorex. Indorex is bound to the surface after 2 hours of spraying so hoovering will not affect the efficacy of the spray.

    The captions read as below. I don't know why the text isn't on their own website. - Close all windows and doors - Remove all pets prior to treatment including birds, reptiles, insects, and spiders. Remove or cover aquariums, vivariums, and water storage tanks - Ensure all pets bedding is washed on a hot cycle (60C) - Caution: Do not spray Indorex near naked flames or pilot lights. Prior to use on or around upholstered furniture, test on an inconspicious [sic] area of fabric - Ensure you shake the can well, remove the lid, hold the container pointing directily [sic] at the surface to be treated at a distance of approximately 50cm. A 5 second burst will treat approximately 1 m2 - Spray directly on carpets, flooring and skirting boards, and underneath any rugs or blankets paying particular attention to cracks and crevices - Treat upholstered furniture but avoid over wetting and do not over-apply to polished wood surfaces - 30 min after application ventilate the treated area for at least 1 hour - Its [sic] vital that you vacuum all floors and upholstered furniture for 7 consecutive days after treatment. The vibrations from the vacuum, will make sure any unhatched pupae hatch out and are killed by the Indorex you have already applied. Ensure contents of vacuum are disposed of in an external waste bin.
