I saw it yesterday and it should have been titled " War Photos" it was a movie about a road trip from NY to D.C. with sidetrips due to a way over used word dystopia America. While at times the cinematography was good (they had a 50 million budget which in my opinion most of it was uses in the last 20 minutes in D.C. ) the story failed for me. In my humble opinion Civil Snore should be on Tubi and Streamed for free on PBS as well.
I don't disagree, David. I was completely underwhelmed. For four people with only press credentials supposedly traveling through a war zone, there should have been MORE peril. Yes, there was peril, but not believably enough for the situation. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Just getting home from a Sunday Matinee. The film was a bit overwrought and unrealistic, although well produced. The acting and sound design were just perfect. A+++ to Jessie Plemons. I liked it more than you did Mikey, but did find it without reality just like you.👍 Cheers brother
That is crazy seeing how positive this films ratings have been but the mixed ratings make me wonder.
For those who viewed the video, you know I discussed other reactions to the film. At the time of broadcast, not all reactions were available. I just checked. On CinemaScore, CIVIL WAR received a B+ from opening night audiences. 2024-05-29: I just updated the Captions for this video. In the process, I re-checked CinemaScore. There's been a bit of a downgrade. It's now B- as reflected in the captions.
I give full credit to the franchise for filming in NYC.👍 That being said, this movie was just blah.
Don't even ask why I''m just responding to this now. They actually filmed most of the movie in England. To me, the lack of traffic and construction was a dead giveaway.
Looking forward to Dune 2.

I thought and forgot to mention on the video that Henry Cavill had more screen time in ENOLA HOLMES than he did in ARGYLLE.
I assumed Bryce and Sam Rockwell were the leads to this film from the trailer and Henry Cavil was the character in the book.
This has such a great cast for Argile this is the first time I paid attention to the tag line. I don’t remember in the first few trailers.
I never realized that the Bee Keeper was a film done by the first Suicide Squad film director. I have heard and seen Trailer for the Bee Keeper but I did not know what it was about. This has been the first time hearing a review on the Bee Keeper.
Convolution a twist. Interesting. Never really thought about the word and it’s meaning before.
This is a film I have been curious about.

Hi, RNG! Happy Holidays! I went in realizing that this was a film representing 100 years of Disney Animation, and I responded to it in kind. It's a somewhat typical Disney story setting up a likable villain with an easily understandable story and a beautiful Disney heroine. It was enjoyable to watch and eminently rewatchable. In fact, I'm looking forward to its premiere on Disney Plus. I thought it was a wonderful family film for the holiday weekend. It has a really obvious coda that I was looking for throughout the film and I had to wait until the very, very end to see what I was expecting, but as far as I'm concerned, it was well worth the wait. Watch and enjoy!
I would agree with the rating of the film. To me the Artwork was great. The songs I enjoyed. But the story reminded me of elements from previous stories I have seen in the past on TV or movies.

Well Mikey... I had my fingers crossed for this one. And.... It was just okay. Better than Eternals and Thor. Iman Velani is just a joy to to watch though. I agree on the 6 rating. Cheers
