Your home is absolutely beautiful!! I love that your walls have gorgeous colors on them, and all the wood pieces you've made look fabulous with those colors!! Thank you for sharing George with us, too. He's my favorite!!! I just love your home. It's so warm and snuggly and feels like I could live there and be happy forever!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It really brings me closer to you and your family. Sending big hugs and lots of love to you all from California, USA. Oh and please give George a big snuggle and kiss from me, Auntie Lorraine. 🐾🩷💙💐

Claire, I can 100 % relate to everything you are going through and feeling. I have been experiencing the same for many years, the daily desire to run away is real. Not knowing the person I currently am is torture. I go day by day waiting for it to end so I can be who I once was. Thank you for sharing ❤

I’m 50 and finding it very hard.. every day is a battle. I can totally relate to everything your saying. I asked my teenage son if he was going to get in the fridge 😂.. I obviously meant the shower 🤦🏻‍♀️.. that’s just one example of the crazy stuff I’m saying. All the best to you Claire and know that you’re not alone, sending hugs ❤

Giving that mattress away is fine😊... My adult daughter had an elipticle (wrong spelling!) Exercise machine during pandemic...paid about £300 for it. She needed it no longer and donated it to charity. I was proud of her kindness.

Lovely home tour due to being one of the nicest houses on YT. The kitchen is my fav. I think the living room is very dark and the rug is way too small. Apart from that, beautiful 😊

See what happens? LOL I forgot to tell you… Even though we have never met and doubt we will, you have become part of my life. Watching your At Home videos feels like hanging out with a friend. I love you as a friend even though you are 3,000 miles away. When something bothers you, I feel for you. Weird, isn’t it? I worry about what you are going through right now and hope you are strong enough to ride it through. And I will be here for you. Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable by getting mushy. 🤗❤️

Hello Beautiful, let me give you a little bit of my back story. At the age of 36 I started going thru peri-menopause, although I didn't realize it at the time because I'm a naturally emotional person. And because of those extra strength emotions I became depressed. I don't have a natural happy medium, I am either super happy or super sad. With the depression brought on by peri-menopause I became suicidal for a few months til I met someone going thru a really crappy period in their life, in that time I felt I was needed to keep her from doing something crazy. I felt that my job was to make her laugh, have fun and enjoy life again. We became BFs and have since parted ways, but she saved my life. Now I am almost 54 and am in full blown menopause, I am still depressed most days but I'm not suicidal anymore because I found a man that loves me, cherishes me and understands me. And thankfully he is more of a goofball then I am and seems to know when I need cheering up with having to even be near me. And I have a great support system. I feel everything you are going thru as I am sure most of the women over 35 who subscribe to you do. You are a blessing to be willing to be open and honest about what you are going thru. There isn't enough open talks about this subject because men don't want to here it, but and I say but, they need to know what we're going thru so that hopefully they can better understand how to help us thru the rough spots. I love you sweetheart from across the pond.

26c is 78f. Too warm for me. The highest I can tolerate is 65f or 18c. George with his ball…how cute! 😁 Claire, I feel for you and hope what you are experiencing doesn’t last long. It varies from woman to woman, though. I was in the throes of all the nasties that come with “the change” while starting a new and complicated job, having hot flashes so bad, the sweat would pour off me. The scary part was my mind going blank, hearing my trainer, but not understanding. I could see words, but couldn’t read them! I was so scared I would be fired if I messed up. 13 years later, I retired because I could not take it any longer. My grandmother had to “go away” for a while when she changed. I use the wrong words a lot, too. My brain simply can’t recall the right word to use. All I can recommend for you is that you MAKE TIME for yourself every day. Even if it’s just an hour. Keeping your house cool and lowering caffeine intake will help with flashes a bit. So will ice water. I take Effexor for them and it works, yet some still try to come through. I don’t recommend it if they aren’t that bad. (It’s hard to come off it after.) I tried so-called remedies on the market may work, but only for a week or two and aren’t worth the expense. I also keep a small desk fan nearby for whenever a hot flash comes through. IT HELPS A LOT! I hope this time in your life passes quickly. You have your friends and family to talk with, but I am always here, too. Hang in there, sweetie. Stay strong. Love and hugs. ❤️🤗

Have a gp appt later this week as pretty sure I'm in peri too. Only the latest symptom is what made me think it and now looking online I've had loads of the symptoms for a number of years, difficult to tell what's what as I have a chronic illness too.. This would make so much sense though xx
