Truly disappointed by this, compulsions only bring on temporary relief and then the anxiety starts again. Compulsions are disruptive and debilitating and continue the OCD cycle

That my son with OCD attempts self help in this way with hand washing is just one answer. But a very important answer for those of us who see the struggle . It’s a key to releasing myself from the responsibility of trying to fix it . He is doing that for himself. I know he doesn’t want to do what others are not doing but it’s his way of managing thoughts that have him under seige . Now , after hearing this I can breathe and be free of guilt of not being able to fix my sons obsession's and compulsions. And that actually puts me in a better position to assist him.
I draw in pencil and people seem to like it but I don’t do it for them. If they like it I give it to them . Out of all my drawings I have only ever sold one , the one I wanted to sell . I never got into drawing and painting to make money. Art gave me a voice to talk about what I love. What I’m surrounded by. I used to feel the move of the ego but now it’s all skill and creativity and I understand anyone can do it . Drawing isn’t unique to me . What is unique is my perspective. And this is the gift we give to others
Very relevant to me, my country has conscription. I've actually only have effectively about 2 more reservist cycles to go before I'm discharged from my obligations for good, so I think it's the path of least resistance to just go along with it and not push against it.

And see this stuff happens all the time. But say I see a pair of earrings I want and then I went to a class where the lady was wearing them the next day. That was like a year ago and I haven’t myself received a pair yet. So I don’t get it. Then there are times where I see something that I don’t really want and could do without and that comes to me no problem. Like if I want it it doesn’t come. But if I don’t it does. How do I shift that?

This is the only time I feel gaslit by Abraham wordsoup and ending with "thats all that it is." LOL something ia being danced around in an odd manor but I imagine its in the contraints of being heard by so many people Either that or im just off, but I do understand what is being said and expressed and could say it in a couple sentances, so I dont ~feel~ stupid...Hmmmm LOL Its only real if you think it is, and different people interpret and translate vibration differently so it may show up in their experience if they have it in their vibration strongly enough. Completely harmful advice and misunderstanding of OCD. Does she not understand the debilitating nature of the thoughts that go along with the distressing and time consuming actions. Couldn't give a fk what others think of my compulsions, I just don't want them. Clueless.

I used Hubbel telescope images for the background, I made the gold sacred geometry in Adobe Illustrator, and then I made it all move in Premiere pro.
